PvP is so dead they hired new caster this expansion, reworked more than 20 PvP talents and added new game mode with new bg. Truely dead mode.
Judging by AWC viewer ship, Id say yeah.

I’m not surprised since even though you have bigger playerbase it’s so boring to watch that you can fall asleep after first match.
And RWF is such an “esport” that most competitive esports orgs gave us on it at the begining of Wrath.
Nobody cares about MDI. The Race gaps AWC. Every cup this season only had peak 20k views, Race had 200k peak. The Great Push gapped it as well.
I mean I don’t blame people for not watching AWC this year as it’s extremely boring due to lack of proper tuning but are you really flexing over 200 k peak xD Asmongold had bigger streams. It’s funny how Blizzard devs care more about this crap than playerbase in fact.
They don’t tune it or invest in it because they don’t care about PvP.
They don’t care about you either. They released a patch full of bugs and almost no content. You got refrozen raid and fomo weekly quests. To compensate any loss of subs they released brutosaur that you probably paid for because you are worth less for them than your 80 euro spent on mount.

you my freind sounds like a sad little boy that knows nothing of the subject other than oh i told you so, i knew exactly what happened blame the discord, instead of putting your actual 2 sense in and contributing to how to make this spec good. the inital changes were great not sole the fact we were op but the spec felt awsome to play why not just tune some numbers down and fix a bug. but what do i know im just sitting here at my keyboard replying to a 12 year olds comments
My contribution to how to make the spec better was writing A4 pages of feedback to leave it as it is before in both Shaman and 11.0.5 PTR development forums.
I actually made one of the most popular threads on the forums with tons of feedback that got completely ignored. So check things before you’ll right something.

They reverted 2 nerfs (PVE) which looks to be ok now.

And they promissed to fix that bug causing you to Lava Burst machine gun the main target so we will see. I’m afraid that we might need some Flame Shock buff to compensate the loss of Skybreaker’s and it would be nice if they made Stormkeeper a choice node with some Fire alternative instead.
This whole week is a joke in terms of the amount of bugs we have to deal with.

I know about the bug. Still it isn’t dead now and somewhat playable. I will test it out.
Feels like an entire pointless discussion happened in this thread but I wanna say, it does not matter if this is a “pve” or “pvp” focused thread, it doesn’t even specify to begin with but its in the shaman forums and both forms of gameplay can be discussed here. Does not matter which is more popular either thats an extremely dumb reason to stop someone from discussing their preferred form of gameplay.
And in general (to both people here) it really doesn’t matter what form of content the nerfs were aimed at, it should be pretty clear what the case is but it doesn’t matter. Feedback can be provided from pvpers about how the nerfs effect pvp, and pve’rs can provide feedback about how it affects pve, pretty simple. Since they can tune separately, it doesn’t make much sense to worry about which form of content the nerfs were aimed at.
The fact they reverted 2 of the nerfs, especially Echo chamber, means they are reading here so ideally we just keep providing feedback based on our own preferred forms of content.
