mana pots will drop like crazy when thebots start running tribut
I mean, yeah.
What are you going to do? Make gold or complain the prices away?
Meanwhile is trying to spell “econamy”.
they whined enough to get dual speck maybe they can whine their way to price caps on the AH
Still waiting for those guilds to start requiring 2 pve specs like you promised
What the heck are you talking about?!
I’m talking about consolidated 60’s, versus fresh 60’s…
I’m supposed to farm a bit everyday???!! Oh boy!
People are getting more stupid by the day… Look at this quote!
Look at it!
Do you know anything about fallacies, or argumentation basics?
Who cares, you literally will cease to exist after bwl, if not during. You don’t have any idea what you are talking about using only your own anecdotal/personal self experience
welcome to the walmart of wow servers any of them that is full with layers/bots
you people really have no idea on GDKP and it really really shows, in Classic during Phase 6 on Westfall Gold was $11 per 1k, Tier, Trinkets, Weapons ect at the start went for in excess of 50-100k with super sought after going in excess of 300k, towards the end the more common stuff was down to 2-3k while the rare stuff was still 100k+, now do the math no one was “swiping” for that gear, you want to know why people buy gold its to buy Riding, its to power level professions, its to buy raiding mats, its not to GDKP, as a matter of fact most GDKP’s frown on it especially from the core team because being gone for 3 weeks means your not there to help carry.
Even going back to Molten Core GDKP items in MC where 1-2k at start with legendary stuff at 10k, this wasn’t bought gold because during Phase 1 of classic 1k = $35, no one is paying that for gear, y’all try to make up arguments without putting in the research.
I did GKDP on my alt during Classic and TBC as a way to make spare gold, i made quite a nest egg for myself but never once bought gold, and how did i make my gold for GDKP? Thats easy I sold tribute runs for the buff and worked in tandem with a warlock with 3 accounts he charged 20g a summon and i charged 20g to come inside, now 20g isn’t much but when you get 40-50 people in 30 minutes for raid buff thats 800g in 30 minutes easy.
What you came to find out is the GDKP crowd had alts or mains that made money, hunter mains or alts for tribute runs, mages and warriors for boosts, warlocks for summons and mages for portals, professions where for suckers
What you came to find out is the GDKP crowd had alts or mains that made money, hunter mains or alts for tribute runs, mages and warriors for boosts, warlocks for summons and mages for portals,
How many tribute runs does it take to farm 100k gold?
What’s the average portal tip? How many portals to farm 100k gold?
your missing the point, thats 800g in 30 minutes, I do that multiple times a day, i go to GDKP and get payout, once im geared i just collect payout, which builds money fast, i stopped selling tribute runs because i started getting bigger payouts by GDKP, and that continued into TBC of course, once you’ve got the gear you keep going and collect gold, as for how quickly can you make 100k legit, not very long, using my math i’d need 125 tribute runs, that’s 25 days if i do 5 a day which wasn’t uncommon. Any more dumb questions?
as for Portals at 10g per average in Classic thats 10,000 portals, again you can bet mages made bank selling portals afterwards back to stormwind from ZG for head drops, cope harder?
This is the biggest misconception.
You think a person farmed 100k gold.
What really happened is a person did gdkps.
You look at the number 100,000 gold and thing its a lot because youre basing it off an individual earning it, but when you do gdkps you have lots of people contributing.
Imagine a person does 3-6 gdkps a week, imagine doing that for a year or 15 months.
The amount of gold those thousands of players contributed is small, you just dont understand how much gold the servers actually have.
Imagine a person does just 3 gdkps a week. for a full year.
Thats 6,084 people contributing gold.
Jeeezlus, dont give em any ideas.
What’s the average portal tip?
I never ask, but usually get between 5 - 50 gold.
Yep.
For many this is now at least the 2nd or 3rd time they’ve done a redo. Some 4 or 5 if they did SOM or SOD.
they aren’t as charitable this time. The milk of human kindness ran out.
They got used to SOD or cata wages. And want them here now sooner.
Then you get people like me. I see gouge, I take off 10% to 20%. If I sell too low, I know dudes will flip that.
I want my take of that action. Flipper buys mine at 6, relist at say 8. I got my 6 and fine with it.
if I sell at 4…now that flipper really makes more off my kindness.
Somebody farmed the gold.
Yes.
7,000 players did…I made that clear.
I was told GDKP was responsible for inflation.
No, you were told gold buying is responsible for inflation. But since your last neuron quit firing a long time ago, you thought it was cute to play pretend.
- GDKP
- Epic Mount
- Edgemasters/LHH
- Boosting
- Raid consumes
These are the reasons people buy gold. #1 is now banned. Remove #4 and you can actively police gold buyers and sellers to catch the ones buying for 2, 3 & 5. Its better to go after buyers than sellers because when you remove demand, the supply becomes meaningless.
Of the 5 main reasons people buy gold, only #2 doesnt contribute to inflation.
Time to learn a profession and start contributing to the economy.
