Lets see your logs if its “so easy” to play. Should only take you a few minutes to be able to do max dps right?

im not poping them as often in raids but when i run keys my defensives are on cool down the moment they come up. especially last week in that 19 ad i did. whoever thought wracking pain should be uninterruptable and the dot cant be removed either should be fired for incompetence. the only good thing was when i poped turtle to clear up the spiders it was cast on me so the healer had a moment to not go o crap and heal hard. i feel less squishy than my feral druid but i 100% feel like a glass cannon where if something looks at me in a 20 i die

Who cares if it’s not supported by any data. I know plenty of people who wouldn’t pick hunters, I personally wouldn’t and I don’t see them in many keys.
My experience is greater to me than you going, “well there is no data, maybe, I dunno”. Oh there’s data, you just won’t accept it in any capacity other than what your bias wants to confirm, I base that off your first response and how it fails to comprehend what I actually typed.
I can tell that you don’t play Hunter.
BM is pressing way more than 3 buttons.
Do you even know how to use Bestial Wrath? Or how to time c/d reductions for as little downtime as possible?
How to maintain stacks to pump harder via pet?
Tranq and counter shots?
I could go on.
C’mon now. I use the simpliest BM talent spread with the least buttons and I’m still doing much more than 3 buttons.

Main reason Hunters aren’t in keys is due to how fragile we are. Our self-sustain is straight garbage.
We also don’t bring any real utility beyond Lust.
Then we’re forced to either hyper focus Single Target or Multi-target in our talents. If we try to do both we end being subpar.

Hunters bring a bit more than that.
wether they know how to or get the opportunity to use the the things they bring is another question
I’m curious to know what you think hunters in general bring to keys besides lust?
Not really.
Compared to other classes, we don’t bring much to the table in smaller groups.
Currently we bring the damage, yet even then healers would prefer another class. Less of a headache

Not a M+ runner so bringing “to keys”? idk about that.
but in general, Hunters have utilities like frost trap, tar trap, interrupting shot, etc. plus whatever the pet they choose can bring.
I believe some affixes can be mitigated with CC which hunters do have a bit of.
Once classes hit the soft itmlvl cap of 483, the damage will be alot more even.
