Those aren’t people.
I tried BM a little while back. It wasn’t satisfying gameplay to me. It feels delayed. I don’t like microing the pet either. If I want to attack something and the pets to attack something else or want them to stop attacking altogether, it turns into a delayed micro cluster.
Bwahahaha this is exactly why I don’t play a hunter.
tier 6 with naval hat is 10/10
Because some people are still that bad.
Yes and No.
An average arcane mage will thrive on a BM hunter because of how easy BM is to play.
I feel sad if you think BM has any degree of difficulty.
This hasnt been a thing in years and I mean YEARS. Deadzone has been removed. it wasnt lack of defensives.
Nah, no reason to. Need better visuals though.
Difficult? No. Clunky? Yes. Having to dismiss and re-summon my pets because they are stuck/ bugged is not fun gameplay.
You’re hurting my ego in the damage meters, you monster!
Be better than them?
That is my observation from healing Hunters in current keys. I even perused their talent tree to try to figure out why they play like that. Your explanation makes sense; I guess the hunters I’ve encountered are all fuddy duddies.
The current issue with hunters is they lost some of their defensives coming into DF. In SL they had a conduit that gave them a damage reduction on feign death and losing that did hurt a bunch.
Most good hunters are going dwarf just for the added stoneform defensive.
I think in higher keys Hunters are stacking vers to help be more tanky.
lol
today i was doing that hunter move with my evoker got blammed for it , damn affixes , btw fires under my feet and ghost following !
funny thing the 1 that raged …agroed later and died instantly i just rez /dance her
Our self healing is also trash. You have exhil and thats it. We used to have mend pet as a self renew, but thats gone.
Heck i have to run spirit bear for max survival (2nd exhil and spirit mend).
Believe it or not I play the classes and specs that I like, what they do in terms of relative damage literally never comes into the equation. I hate meters and get resentful when I see them. I totally understand why FF14 made them illegal, they are bad product and no one needs to know that to enjoy themselves.
I think if one spec is labeled “easy” then it’s on the other specs to change so they aren’t so “difficult.” I haven’t even played a hunter in awhile since they won’t give me a ferocity robot pet on my mechagnome, but if they start gimping specs on the basis of what “the community” thinks they are difficulty-wise then all is lost.
There’s nothing for you here. Just play the spec you enjoy the most and stop reading meters if it gives you such a complex.
Demon Hunter first then. BM is on the short end of the stick more often than not, or smack dab in the middle.
But if you wanna talk braindead spec doing big numbers let’s start with DH, especially with how much survivability and mobility they have.
Id blame arcane though. Arcane is super convoluted. Compare it to something like fury, ele shaman, destro lock. Heck most specs are super basic when you get down to it. They just dont appear as such due to button count.
A good example of what i mean is my enhance shaman. I get mocked quite a bit because of her ilvl, but then i out perform people 20+ilvls above her (including bm). Its funny when discord gets quiet.
I press 2 on my dk. Get dots rolling. Drop defile. Mash scourge and epidemic/death coil. Instant top meters.
Same with fury. Tap ww. Rampage, bloodthrist, raging blow.
Most specs can be reduced to 2 to 3 button mashing.
This is literally an ego issue. Grow up
skill issue OP
There are maintenance rotations that are very punishing also. Not easy, but also not Arcane, high APM. Outlaw is like this and FDK. FDK’s middle name is punishment, Breath is so punishing that people won’t even play it, Blizz needs to rework it now that we have Evokers breathing 40 yards away all over stuff randomly.
Outlaw, if you use Between the Eyes outside of your spending window, you put it on CD and screw yourself royally. Also going in without Bladeflurry up is bad. It has too much maintenance for my taste, I pivoted on playing it after I practiced it more.
Looking at a spec and trying to master it are 2 different things. You might find different conclusions when you actually practice it. I thought I loved Outlaw until I actually started practicing the new rotation lol.
