Well, let’s be honest. Arcane shot is unusable. Kill shot is a dps loss more often than not. Cobra and multi feel awful to hit. We had more 3 point nodes than several classes combined. Until 3 weeks ago the entire right side of the spec tree was unplayable. Pets have awful ai. Ferocity is bad. Cunning is bad. We can’t even get value out of misdirect. Hunter’s asked for some kind of group buff or utlity and they gave us hunter’s mark, that was rejected originally because it was awful.
And the sadest part, is that half of these issues could be fixed with some of the existing pvp talents, that we don’t use in pvp…

You’d think since it was a discussion about how simple BM Hunter is now while also doing crazy good DPS now… parses from 10.2 would make sense.

Why? They are human and biased as well. Half the Warrior content creators don’t think fury should be viable in pvp, because arms is better and that is the way it should always be.
There’s a part of me, from a younger time, who is jumping up and down and clicking their heels at the power of BM over Marksman in it’s present state and It’s entirely because I remember raiding as BM in wrath when I’d be told it was a dead spec and would be better off rerolling.
A more evil, spiteful devil on my shoulder is cackling at the misery of Marksman hunters.
A more reasonable sensible angel on my shoulder is saying that Hunters should probably get a good looking at in the vein of a Rework like the ones Ret Got
Because they are working with a lot more information and also mythic raiding and pushing +25s with the spec.
The people in GD clearly stated they don’t even raid.

With current builds, you rarely have a spare moment to press it.
Even my sim came up with 16 uses over 5 minutes. But that could also be my build lol.
I’m still hoping they incorporate SL conduits into builds. We are definitely missing out.
I did not say they were not great players. I did not say they weren’t super informed. But let’s not also pretend that they don’t have personal preferences and biases or that their income is not based on views and clicks.

They don’t because when BM was horrible or bad, they stated this.
There were times where they went against their own spec to call out its flaws.
It’s actually a very reliable source.

Mate, the majority of the hunter theorycrafters including both guide writers in the discord have listed their issues with bm, at length. If all you got from that was “bm bad cause ez” I don’t know what to tell you.
And in general BM is the easiest spec to play at all levels. Just because some people may struggle doesnt change that.
