You really can’t seen the basic fundamental problem with using year old data given the speed of updates and changes to the game at present?
Here ya go then.
Whatever you need to float your boat
Where’d you get this number? Their post shows 54, which with globals and focus, I can see. Even my sim backs up that number.
Fury being 67 makes sense as most of their stuff is up at the same time so you can essentially button mash and never run out of things to press.
With the mean APM being 58, 54 isn’t awful.
And evoker at 36, and with how few buttons they have, the main being channeling disintegrate… I think thats a much better example of “brain dead”.
The spec plays almost the same though.
The only classes on that list that got a rework was ret pally and DH.
If you want to ignore those specs thats fine.
I never called anything braindead.
My stance is that BM is one of the easiest specs to play.
Nothing more, nothing less.
Tbh I’m done arguing with you. It’s a circle argument of NOU. It’s tired lol.
If you want to actually debate specs and stuff, cool. But if you want to keep arguing and belittling each other, I’m out.
We can run a quick 14-15 if you want, that should prove my ability. If not, cool.
Being good at Aug requires massive amounts of game knowledge of not just the fights but other classes. While button wise its not hard the outside information required is higher
It hasnt been an argument. Its just been you and some others getting upset because you didnt like what I had to say.
Running a 14/15 is worthless. you dont even die to failing mechanics.
The fact you think doing a 14/15 is proving ability that explains everything.
How do we define easy then? You used apm as an example, but there are 16 classes in range of bm’s button pressing. Fire being one, and we know how fire plays. And frost/fury are in the top contenders for apm, and we know how they play.
So then do we go to the buttons themselves? I counted 10-11 bm buttons for damage. Frost mage is at 11ish. Fury 13ish. Outlaw is 13ish.
But we know outlaw has a higher skill cap to min/max than the other 3.
Idk. To me it’s all semantics and subjective based on experience. Like I find mm difficult. Unholy dk is probably the easiest for me, even easier than bm.
I saw others posting about how boomy is difficult for them, and I find that super easy.
Sorry, I forgot to include devoker. Aug wasn’t around when that log was made, so it’s not included, but it definitely has more buttons than devoker.
14/15 is enough to prove a point of knowledge. You don’t have to push 18-20 to see that. Tbh that mentality is just being pompous.
There’s a reason it’s always recommended to newer players.
It’s low risk high reward. Doesn’t suffer from mobility. Doesn’t need to cast.
Nobody is suggesting fire mage/arcane mage or rogues to newer players because executing their rotation is much more complex.
That’s great.
But then we can go to a more reliable source.
Somebody with actual credibility, plays the game and the class more than any of us.
Once again, you’re free to disagree.
But this all stemmed because some people got hurt that BM was called “easy and simple”.
Tbh I HOPE players in liquid think bm is braindead. They are the best of the best. I wouldn’t let the .001% players dictate what is braindead or not.
Okay, then tell newer players to play other specs since “they’re all easy”
That won’t go well for those players.
No it isnt.
Yes you do. The game at 19/20 is different than at 14/15
It is, but that’s more so REALLY don’t stand in that. Priority interrupts, etc.
Tbh I also mentioned 14/15 because I said quick. If you want to 17, sure. I’m not jumping into an 18-20 at 450. If I wasn’t a squishy bm hunter, I’d give it a go. But I know how glass cannony we are right now and that’s pushing it too much.
I was near 2600 in S2. I think I am doing fine.
Trash doesnt even live long enough for sin to do anything in 15s
Thats your opinion.
Thats not something I personally would flex
That your rogues rating in s2
Our afflic lock suffers from the same problem. Dot specs, amirite?
I only farmed 17s on rogue to get caught up for Echo progression. Even on our Echo kill I still had 437 rings.
My mage was 2700 + and even then I wouldnt flex anything under 3k
Why is .1% flexing? Less than 10% hit 2500, seems like a good flex to me. And that’s just the % of the population that runs keys.
Because I wasnt even trying to push IO and hit 2500 on rogue. Just in my view 3k is where flexing starts
Flexing is one thing, stating a certain rating is fine isn’t really flexing.
Now if I was like… HAH nerds with your wittle io. Me far above you at 2600.
But lets be honest, ~10% is fine. You don’t have to be top 1% to have a clue ya know.
