I tried BM once. It felt like I was a level 10 in BoA leveling gear pressing 2 buttons. I don’t even understand how anyone enjoys the spec. Doesn’t feel like WoW to me.
You made the comparison not me because you couldnt refute the facts I made on target and tried to discredit me.
I could use your current season IO or last seasons IO to show the same thing, however parsing shows personal ability not getting carried through keys like IO can show.
Ok and? DK was a top DPS last tier. Topping meters in normal means nothing. That doesnt make you a top player. You might be a top player in your group.
Whats crazy is you using anecdotal evidence to counter logs and ignore reality.
Whats crazy is how you tried to claim you and I play at the same level.
I havent done much aside from the intro quest on my hunter and I can say it feels fun to be able to turn my brain off and mow things down.
You sound young.
Inexperienced.
No wonder you cannot play BM Hunter.
It’s too hard for you.
You again?
@ thread, ignore everything this literal says.
You keep using bad info to try discredit me… do you even read what you type?
So by that reasoning, the majority get carried then?
I meant fyrakk, but tbh… isn’t that what parsing shows? You are a top player? Top of the meters usually means you are good, even it’s for your groups standards.
And if thats the case, topping meters in parsing means nothing as well other than a flex lol.
Your own example of MY logs show how faulty they are lol. I did a normal run at the beginning of the season and you are branding me based off that when I don’t even raid
Your rogue and my hunter did though
Gotem.
And that quote wasn’t at you. I’m questioning your ability to read at this point.
That’s your problem there. You didn’t notice the rest of their kit.
I’ve done both challenges as well. I would contend that the mage tower challenges aren’t measuring damage output so much as situational awareness and mastery of the class’s whole toolkit.
But I understand what you’re saying.
It is frustrating though as a player of other classes where it takes a lot more setup to start doing strong AoE damage, or a class that has to be in melee, or has to stand still to cast, or requires mobs remain within a ground effect, and then get outclassed by Kill Cleave.
I acknowledge that hunters have not as great utility, and are vulnerable to unavoidable damage at times, but BM otherwise has none of the downsides of having to cast or be in melee. How is it possible that this spec can be doing stronger DPS than marks, a spec with much more restrictiveness in its gameplay?
I assure you it’s not a problem at all. I just don’t enjoy it because it’s brainless. Their “kit” is boring and mediocre which is why it’s a beginner spec.
BM hunters got AoE? I mean I know of the spread shot and you can make poison sting spread but…what else do they got that makes their AoE OP? From where I’ve seen most their attacks are single target…besides the chakram bouncing between people but it’s not that massive in damage is it? Now that nightfae move they had in Shadowlands that marks foes within a circle to be struck like crazy…that was fun…sad they didn’t get to keep it as like a rain of arrows move
Someones salty.
Credible info isnt bad info.
Nope look at you moving the goalposts. I said IO doesnt show log information like WCLogs shows damage done ect.
Still irrelevant.
Topping meters in a mediocre group doesnt make you a top player.
/facepalm.
Logs are the best info to go by.
Didnt push last season and was equal to your hunter.
Your logs show you werent even in the top half.
It’s all good, I don’t hold grudges anyway!
My favorite response to the “too many keybinds” threads was just play BM hunter.
Well, it’s a good thing we got so many BM hunters around now.
I appreciate it. I just like to correct myself if I say something thats not true. We may not agree on everything but I do think you and I agree for the most part
precisely. BM players have needed more love over the years. ‘easy’ to play is meaningless when the overall difference is rather a joke for most players but the skill difference of the playerbase is alarming. wow definitely went the wrong direction with this.
Talent
Requires Hunter
After you Multi-Shot, your pet’s melee attacks also strike all nearby enemies for 35% of the damage [Kill Cleave: and Kill Command strikes all nearby enemies for 80% of the damage] for the next 3.0 sec. Deals reduced damage beyond 8 targets.
does that make both pets they got out do this? I don’t see how that’s OP unless the pet doing the cleaving matters as far as damage?
Yeah add tier and now is 3 pets, but BM is good because Its all instant from ranged , and even if the Hunter has to deal with a mechs pets still doing dmg
That doesnt make bm op just It has Big uptime
Has its issues pet IA , lack of defensives/self heals
Correct, it’s very bad game design to make the simplest options also the highest potential.
There needs to be a tradeoff between risk and reward or the game is poorly designed.
