"The developers disrespect the Alliance player races"

Speaking of which, I was planning on race changing one of my characters to Kul Tiran, but couldn’t decide which.

Because it does. It’s nice to share! :upside_down_face:

thread’s not addressed to you as far as i can tell. its tagging devs for ignoring alliance, particularly as regards allied races. you said we dont have a reason to complain. i’m just wondering why your sub is worth more than mine or why horde is generally worth more dev time.

Besides Anduin and Alleria playing pivotal roles the biggest thing people want to do is to relate to notable characters and that’s only done well if they’re human-like first.

The moment you write a completely inhuman character with traits that can be related to people get fussy about it because they can’t fit their face on a beak or a snout. They mudsling and namecall that ‘X is too human-like and should have been made Human’ or, ‘X race is just a different human,’ and whatnot. I’m probably overgeneralizing this of course and missing some caveats but all I know is that people just abhor the inhuman and substitute fantasies for some reason.

I generally just take it upon myself to play beast-like races just to escape from being Human for a time. If I really wanted to be one I’d just go outside or look in the mirror.

It’s more or less a reason why I enjoy playing Dracthyr, Worgen, Tauren, Etc, (mostly Dracthyr) and hope Drakonid and Sethrak get in eventually.

Because the CM’s and Forum Moderation look at the threads. Not the game devs.

And the devs have listened. Remember the fair skins? Yeah, that was also requested for Void Elves, guess what the Void Elves got in patch 9.0. Remember the other hair colours that were also requested? Yeah, guess what Void Elves got in patch 9.1.5.

Complaining about what exactly? That you want another group of High Elves over what we already have? Or the fact that you think you own the game and get to decide on the decissions?

This is all based on your own opinion, not a fact.

did you not also get new skin, eye and haircolors?
on top of all the other stuff, but here it is approaching 11.0, and void elves have none of the new shinies and neither do kul’tirans or mechagnomes.

In otherwords, you’re ignoring the fact that people already requested for stuff, and continue to act like you didn’t get anything. Gotcha.

Well, nice talking to you, but I got better things to do than feeding your trolling.

I have two Kul Tirans but on the RP-server I play they are a true minority race. Perhaps it looks better on raid-based servers.

100% agree. That’s why the Alliance needs to get actual good races to make them attractive. It simply feels not good that the Alliance is used as a trash bin.

If you think the other races are not “attractive”, then sounds like it is a you problem.

Dismissed. If you add four flavors of the same race to the same group, then we still cannot call it diversity.

So, then we agree that we’ve already got High Elves through the Void and Blood Elves, and should not add another.

i got what i asked for, minus new hairstyles, jewelry and so on. and everything i got was an easy ask cause they didnt have to do anything but copy/paste. i’m grateful they did it but i still look like a rag-a-muffin, just no longer a blue one. i dunno how y ou can pretend it was some creative work like they did with nelfs and humans. we are such a low effort race,we’re just like naughty said, cheap knock offs. our subs are worth less than yours.

The Alliance got High Elves and don’t need another High Elf race, yes. The Horde has no actual claiming rights for High Elves. The are an Alliance-exclusive race, otherwise they would be Sin’dorei.

And yet, they are already on Horde, and have been on Horde since TBC

I’m a High Elf who is a Blood Elf who is also a Undead Blood Elf but not a Void Elf but could be an Undead Void Elf in an alternate reality (server).

Incorrect. You have it the other way around. The Alliance can be both the Sin’dorei and Quel’dorei, while the Horde cannot. That’s the irony everyone has missed so far.

You are not allowed to play a Quel’dorei as Sin’dorei. It’s another political stance and you cannot equip the Quel’dorei mounts but perhaps the shield.

Yes, but they don’t call themselves this anymore. You’re exclusively Sin’dorei. If you want to play actual Quel’dorei, you know what they are saying. The Alliance is waiting for you.

Not true, some of the High elves reunited with the Sin’dorei to return home to Silvermoon, which is why Blood elves also get the High elf customisations.

Actually, we are not. we are former high elves. There was a divide. We became the blood elves and others who disagreed remained the highelves diving into two seperate factions. Though some ahve reunited with the Bloodelves now they still remain high elves.

technically but not legally. this is why you cant make a high elf currently but you can make a blood elf or a void elf.
