The Death of Rastakhan is a Sweet Victory for the Horde

I don’t think so. Sure he’s focused on death but death needs alive things so that they eventually die and continue the cycle.

Except a good portion of the Horde (and growing) is undead. So much for that cycle.

Shhhhhhhhhhhh. Don’t let them hear you.

Details. They don’t seem relevant this god around.

Personally, I like both of them.

I just wish Rastakhan wasn’t the one who had to die.

If anything the death of a bright up and coming princess would inspire the zandalari to join the horde more than a king who clearly had enough time already on the throne and seemed to be slipping ( and not being able to do his job 2 seconds without a Loa sugar daddy )

Bwonsamdi is like the not-voodoo equivalent of that sketchy guy you know who might have Mob ties who you hit up for cash and favors when you really need them. But you always make sure to pay him back, because you heard rumors about the last guy who didn’t…

Sylvannas is the enemy of death, so it kinda conflicts with Bwosandi. She revives souls back to life, and Bwosandi wants souls to flow into the afterworld.

I’m not sure Sylvanas can or should count the Loa as an “ally”.

Are you saying Sylvanas is a Mary Sue? If so, do you know what Mary Sue means? I assume you don’t because you just said that Jaina was a Mary Sue, which she obviously isn’t.

Commerce actually, even a small gunboat armed with torpedoes or mines can do a lot of damage to the commerce that flows on the seas. It’s a lot easier to move heavy cargos over sea than land. The US has had a few scares where Iran has threatened to mine the Straight of Hormuz. A single submarine can be a massive killer to your ability to support your self economically and strategically if it’s able to scare commerce off the waves.

Horde have one canonically. You see it in the Nazmir assault although alliance tries to blow it up. If you’re a horde character you take off in a bomber from it to do strafing runs on alliance troops.

She doesn’t have flaws and is way stronger than any of her peers. The amount of feats she does in Nazmir alone makes me wonder why WE the player are even needed. In the very first quest she fends off against like 100 blood trolls with her bubble ability she conveniently never uses again because its awful writing. Its like the suramar intro all over again. Thalyssra starts off committing crazy feats but apparently can barely leave a cave? Come on man.

And almost every alliance leader is as well. Anduin is like 17 and didnt leave stormwind until the end of legion and yet is one of the strongest priest (paladin?) in the world now?

No, though I realized it wasn’t as clear as I meant. I meant that we had two leaders who were overly proud but badly ineffective, in Rastakhan and Sylvanas. Both lose major battles because of their pride, both ignore strategy and broker whatever deals they can to further their own ends at the expense of their people, and both allow underlings to commit large amounts of resources to coups (Varimathras and Zul) because of their lack of meaningful oversight.

Meanwhile, Jaina qualifies as a Mary Sue just as much as Talanji, if not moreso. She can literally make ships fly, knock out city walls with magic cannonfire, create shields that can withstand the entire weight of a castle falling upon them, stand toe-to-toe with the Lich King when fleeing from him in the ICC dungeons, and has been used as an ex machina several times over. She raised an entire ship from the ocean depths single-handedly, and was the only way to save all of Stormwind from burning when we busted Zul out of the Stockades. Seems like a fair enough Mary Sue to me.

did you miss MoP where he 1 vs 1 garrosh and the entire horde to stop the faction war?

If she spontaneously came into these powers I’d agree, but she’s been at this for decades now.

Don’t worry, it won’t actually cause you any issues.

…he left during Cata, and was an integral part of MoP.

Her story is not good at all. The Entire zandalari story was better with Zul and how it was before they just because a boring troll race.

He did have a sojourn in Pandaria; he even got captured by the Horde! That said… his abilities don’t add up.
