The Death of a Friend...remembering The Dalaran Well. *Minor SPOILERS*

For those that have not yet started the First quest chain of the new Expansion please avoid the spoiler ahead!

DALARAN IS GONE … and with it we have lost many friends and companions, but for me the loss of one in particular hurts…

*([Insert Image of Dalaran Well if blizzard will let me…]

THE DALARAN WELL.
For those of you from WotLK era when Wyrmrest Accord first opened you may recall how I frequently stood upon the well and announced the coming battles in Wintergrasp, and how I would shout and try to rally the Horde for battle against the Alliance.

I shall remember you old friend and the times we shared. You shall be avenged!

Memories of you saying you’d pay 15g for any screenshots of Xara killed in WG? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Fare thee well my sweet floaty city-state. May I see you once again in Hillsbarad, some sunny day.

Sits by camp fire and removes a large broken brickrock from pack
carves it by fireside for hours
finishes revealing a carved ornate rock with the Horde Symbol
cuts thumb and bleeds into Horde Symbol

I will avenge you my friend!

It’s not a WoW expansion without another historically Alliance important location is utterly wiped out.

Dalaran was important to us Horde too!

Dalaran was where I became Overlord of Wintergrasp!
It’s where I used to get all the finest cheeses for my Orc charcuterie nights.

Besides, it’s been two whole expansions without an Alliance Capital being wiped out by the Horde…and you just “resettled” Gilneas.

Go poke the Night Elves and tell them to get replanting their new tree and this time make sure it’s complaint to Oshagov/fire-safety/standards

Today I learned that Kiethoo posts almost real links because I searched on that.

My guild had a conversation about Gnomish OSHA a couple of weeks ago, pertaining to Larisi blowing things up. She told them they couldn’t report her because they weren’t gnomes.

Conjurer Margoss, may he rest with the magical fishes, was right.
“This is the problem with magic, you never know when it will turn on you!”

Now that the most optimal wishing coin deposit location has been destroyed, I’m not sure where to throw all my hopes and dreams into water, in the shallow hopes things will improve.

Guess this also makes the Underlight Angler a legitimate artifact now.

I’m not allowed to post pictures or links :frowning:
I’m shocked blizzard trusts me to post emoticons…

You can get around the link thing by putting it between ` marks

I suddenly remember things I didn’t remember before.

Like how Tol Barad was better than Wintergrasp. And how Ashran was better than Tol Barad and Wintergrasp combined

An updated Outland and new chunks of Draenor floating around is a dream of mine, but given that the ecosystem is dying out, I think it is highly unlikely that we’ll ever see a return to Outland expansion.

That said, Burning Crusade Re:Mix would be hilariously chaotic and I am here for it.

I have no enemies. You can declare me as one, but me? None. Unbothered, in my lane, moisturized, and thriving.

Jergens? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Nah, all about that South Korean skincare product. Going back to Jergens feels… oily. Skincare routines are where it’s at.

Alright then, keep your secrets.

What works for me may not work for other people, and I don’t advertise for free.

(Unless it’s like… really good food)
