The day Classic + turned into retail -

Agree. The journey while leveling is a big chunk of what makes the time spent in game worthwhile.

ay yo Tone, im walkin here!

Sucks that you cannot compute?

You think everyone who plays classic, likes the leveling process? The only thing that matters to me is at max level and it consists of PVP.

Excuse me but what?

Are you implying that the people that just do instances dislike classic because they don’t quest thus kills the journey?

Did you think out your response or just regurgitate words into the chat box?

You are claiming that questing is what the journey is.

Okay if that’s true then why do so many people speed run to max level? This wasn’t a phase 2 specific thing.

No Phase 1 had it as well, do you expect every single person to sit there read hmm yes why does Illthalane want me to kill 7 cats and 4 boars.

People enjoy classic for the gameplay this “Journey” is a meme now if it wasn’t a meme people wouldn’t pay for dungeon boosts, people wouldn’t spam instances, people wouldn’t rush to max level. Get real.

The community did this to itself by creating this rush culture Blizzard just enabled it more, also it’s Season of Discovery the only changes are 2 instances and runes that the latest batch requires you to basically be 35+ get out of here with THEY’RE RUINING CLASSIC.

Why am I arguing with of everything a freaking human warrior that’s 60 you couldn’t be any more generic and parse based.

Post your logs rat

Leveling is cringe and so are the people who think it’s rewarding to hit max level

This is quite the SKY IS FALLING bit of rubbish. OMG THEY GAVE A FREE XP BOOST, NEXT THEY WILL REQUIRE MONEY FOR XP

Dork

So we should play something we dont like and not ask for something we do because it will cause SoD to die like it deserves for being a half baked idea with minimal dev time committed to it?

disagree Era in phase 1 was a ghost town and in the last few weeks is getting busier again. Just like Era slowed down after WOTLK launch and HC Launch. But after a few months people always come back. Have 40+ people on from guild the other day and majority of them were leveling characters. Log into whitemane tonight and go to Org or SW and youll see

They didn’t put TBC off the table if sod continues to be a success. Calling it a season just gives them the wiggle room to pull the plug if it flops, and they can see what works and doesn’t for the next attempt at classic+

Then go ask for more servers and stop trying to pollute SOD/HC.

I do ask for new fresh servers
IDK how I’m polluting SOD/HC
just disagreed with your statement that there aren’t enough of us to matter

because its seasonal you moron and people want Alts especially when you’re locked after one attempt. If I could spam raids to my hearts content I would be all about slow progress/Leveling but you classic andies that dogpile on this weird idea that you’re game wouldnt be dead without an exp increase. Theres better games right now to play (Helldivers 2 to name) why would time be wasted on a slow same leveling experience that is literally no different than classic era

imo alts are definitely not meaningless.

thats, like, your opinion, man

As far as i’m aware, it is already optional. They said you can turn it off in inns

You’re not wrong there. I was expecting something else and i gotta say i’m disappointed, from design perspective. Back in november when p1 was just around the corner we had these promises of Classic reimagined, with fresh and fun stuff. Except for the locks and mages tho, everything else is just like a new patch of an existing game. This is not something you advertise as complete new mode with it’s own dedicated servers

I completely agree with you. Some WoW players, especially classic fans gotta reslize that the original 2004 experience is just not coming back and there’s many reasons why. First and foremost, they aren’t 14 anymore, playing a new game that’s like a completely new genre on their first PC ever. The magic of waiting to come after school on Friday and play for the rest of the day is gone. Second, the gaming community is nowhere near what it used to be. You don’t get to enjoy “the unique immersive experience in the world of Azeroth” bcs everyone is minmaxing, bcs everything under the sun has been done and seen and everything that’s new, you got 10000 videos within the first 24h telling you all you need to do. No one is helping, no one is actually doing anything unless it’s part of the pattern of end game content and for some reason everyone feels the absolute need to do exactly that to have “fun”. If OP really wants to have special experience where every little thing matters and every victory is celebrated, i suggest playing Hardcore. Everywhere else Retail mentality is gonna creep in, bcs Retail mentality is just a result of the collective demands of the playerbase over the years(some good some bad) and the symptom of gaming community/ industry way past the early 2000s.

This also isn’t Classic, and if you went into SoD with the mentality it was, that was your first mistake.
