Not to the significant degree you seem to think it did

LFR and transmog aren’t in SoD, which isn’t classic+ anyway

who said this? I don’t care either way about LFR, and don’t want the token at all

It isn’t Classic either.

They bait and switched Classic players with SoD so they could get the project off the ground. Soon as retail lovers have something more modern to play, SoD isn’t gonna have anyone left.

Yea so i stopped reading here.

You think WOW token, the SHOP, LFR and transmog didnt have a significant change to retail. Okay man yea sure

Classic plus is doomed lol. Inc transmog vendor in phase 4.

I feel like a lot of people baited themselves with unrealistic expectations. You saw a server set in Vanilla and immediately assumed it meant ‘Classic+’ and ascribed all your wants and desires for such a server. I never had such delusions.

They designed whole new raid encounters for people to experience, this is half of the classic + experience. Why would anyone who is playing SOD not want to experience SoD in its entirety.

Because Asmon stopped playing. And Asmon has said: Sod Man Bad

This is exactly what people did in wow classic when it was released several years ago. You had people in MC not even max level yet.

you made zero mention of either of these in your original post so I don’t know why you’re so stuck on them all of a sudden

Maybe you should calm down, take a step outside for a breath of fresh air and then come back and start actually paying attention to the things you say so we can have an actual discussion, eh?

I see Aguy is still skreeching about muh “progressive fresh” nonsense being ruined by the devs.

Silly Content Locust.

I didn’t really have any expectations. I didn’t read or watch any of the announcement stuff leading up to SoD. I didn’t start until a couple weeks in because some old friends were trying it out.

I saw it was based in Vanilla, and was meant to offer an experience that feels like Vanilla but with a fresh perspective.

I saw that they were manually balancing faction populations.

I saw they were bracketing leveling.

Lots of good things that drew me in. Key among them that it was Vanilla-based and progressive. It was enough to try it out, and after seeing how closely they stuck to the Vanilla formula for P1, I thought it’d have legs. P2 was an immediate switch and its only gotten way worse.

Your posts are completely useless. Just blatant harassment. Bye.

Okay what about the half they ignored? This is a failure of the devs.

You mean the runes they implemented for classes?

And what half is that?

Nope, I mean they did nothing to create discovery in the open world during questing.

Where did they say thats what was going to happen?

The Runes were the Discovery.

And people discovered them.

I’d say that’s doing their job.

Season of Discovery

They are retail-brained devs who don’t understand the design values of the game they built on top of, which is why they near exclusively added “discovery” to the end game for each phase.

You mean the entire rune sets that people had to run around and find? An entire community if classes and people working nonstop to find requirements, quests, and items needed for new runes every phase? THAT Discovery?!?
