Majority is not also right. Blizzard should just follow their data of players behavior.
There are no tweaks to LFD that make sense. If they are going to include it, they should include it as is.
LFD in wrath didnt give incentives to tanks/healers. You get your daily badges, thats it.
Not teleporting people to the dungeon just lets the group fall apart before it even begins, imagine how angry DPS will be when they waited their turn in line only for that group to not even start and they have to wait all over again.
Not being cross server means its removing its best feature. Cross Server allows players on less populated servers to at least do some content regularly.
Community and Reputation being the argument to make it not cross server doesnt make sense, because even if people on your server know you are a bad actor and dont want to group with you are still forced to group with you because you waited in line. (You not meaning you specifically, just easier to form the sentence that way I think)
I have this tangential idea that perhaps not including the RDF means they have heard the feedback from players on underpopulated servers and are formulating a plan to adress it. Hypothetically: if RDF is implemented it doesn’t actually change the status of a low-pop server, it only diminishes the downsides of being on one with regard to finding dungeon groups. Perhaps they are planning to intervene again on behalf of the lower pop realms in a similar manner that they did for the Era servers via realm connections which are, for nearly all intents and purposes, effectively server merges.

thats what we have here. The people most upset are the loudest. They might be all over the place angry, but where were they the last 6 months when the “no lfd” rhetoric ran these forums 99 to 1.

I don’t group constantly with random people . If I have to replace its likely a friend or guild mate… So it’s anti social to say it’s nothing.
It only doesn’t matter if you’re some A-hole who just blasts thru games without speaking…
Most of the people claiming they want LFD is to avoid having to pay tanks to run their group, therefore most of the people who want LFD must be a DPS.
So if LFD make the game more convenient to play DPS, it felt fitting to point out how much angrier they would be if the group fell apart. A tank or healer wont care if a group falls apart.

Before Classic an extremely vocal (maybe minority) came here, did poll and were trying to convince us that Classic is going to fail without X modern features.
Poll like that does not have value. “Pro LFD” are everywhere voting for LFD spamming because they are upset. Doesn’t mean it’s a good representation of the playerbase.
Thanks god Blizzard didn’t listen to them and Classic was a success. Maybe most of them didn’t played beyond P2.

It falls under the new remastered/remakes. This is a lucrative NEW area that they have already started exploiting. Diablo 2 comes to mind….
whiles that is a thing, why not instead do something wise for once and actually ship the original game? I know its a hard concept, but its the most practical way.

They stated the reason for not including LFD was based off community feedback.
The easiest answer is that the product they once sold would no longer work with our current technology and user base. It’s incompatible…

No seriously we are playing on a new interface. That old game wouldn’t work as it once did. It’s been patched together with some magic…
I know whats possible; there is no physical requirement to use the modern game engine excluding to make use of dumb stuff not important to play the game.
The only thing using the modern engine achieves is adding countless bugs to the game and not addressing the botting, hacking or cheating problems.
