Well, last sunday a friend and I were normally hosting our weekly Ulduar 25 GDKP skip run, we had a friend come in with his fresh druid to buy gear and everything wen’t smoothly. We cleared the raid and started bidding and handling loot, and when we got to the item " Dreambinder" (Feral staff, dropped off of Algalon) we noticed that the player (Drudone) was not eligible to be traded. As his gear was pretty fresh for an 80 in Ulduar, he was in bear form for most of the fight, since its a heavy AoE encounter where he would probably just die in normal forms, so it seems like he didn’t get a parse assigned, however he did take part on the fight through casting Rebirth, Tranquility, Barskin, etc.
We have opened tickets to adress the issue, which is clearly a bug and should be resolved by GM interaction, however Blizzard representatives have shown clear sign of neglect and lack of action. Here is the ticket reply history from my side:

The played “Drudone” was in my whole Ulduar run, however I was not able to trade him the item “Dreambinder”, which is still in my inventory. He was in the fight however it seems he has only done damage to Constellations, therefore it seems as if the game didn’t confirm his presence when he was in there.

Hello, Gabriel
Thank you for contacting Blizzard Customer Support.
This is Game Master Smeovvooso, and I am here to take a look at your request!
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the Dreambinder that you received. We appreciate your concern and understand that you would like to trade it with your fellow Druid. I completely understand why you would want to reach out to us on this, World of Warcraft is a huge and intricate universe that can sometimes be a little on the bemusing side, even for the most experienced of players (myself included!).
After checking your beloved Level 80 Human Death Knight, Abbadøn, and Drudone, we must say that sadly Drudone, was not eligible for the loot, because he did not participate in the encounter.
We unable to facilitate those trades. This is working as intended and we need to maintain a fair and equal gaming environment for all players. You can see the official information about this situation on the following link:
.If you believe there was a bug, we will also kindly ask that you submit a bug report. This will allow our team to investigate the issue in more detail and ensure that it has been resolved to your satisfaction.

I insist that he should have been eligible, if you spend some time investigating you will see he was in the fight even though he didn’t contribute, as far as I am concerned loot rules apply to players inside the instance and in range, despite of their participation on the fight. He was locked inside the Algalon room with everyone else so I find it very much disheartening and disruptive since it was clearly a bug caused by an early spirit release or so. People have extensive evidence of him doing damage to Algalon Constellations which are only attackable by players inside the room so denying him the item is denying the bug and thus not caring about the player’s experience.
Rangiiafan
Hello there, Gabriel, I hope you’re doing great today. This is Game Master Rangiiafan, and I’ll check your case. ^^
Thanks for your message, and it’s a very nice thing to try to trade the Dreambinder to your friend, we had another look at the group, and can confirm the game didn’t register the character’s participation in the fight for the chest’s rewards.
There’s no known issue affecting this system, and a character will be saved even when not damaging the boss, but as long as the group engage with it, you can read more here:
We’re unable to manually redistribute loot on such conditions, but if you believe a bug happened, we kindly ask you to make a bug report of it.
• Press Esc or click the ? button to open the menu.
• Click Support.
• Click Submit feedback or bug report.
• Enter the details of the bug into the Submit a bug description box, making sure to follow the guidelines outlined on the submission form.
• Click Submit.

You are incorrect. It seems like your look didn’t have a good look at the group, you see even warcraft logs shows damage done by the player Drudone to both Algalon and Collapsing Stars (). It is clearly a bug and there is proof of it, the player has even casted Rebirth mid fight to rez players (proof: ). I’m highly disappointed with the lack of investigation and the neglect from Blizzard staff to resolve this issue. We have logs and 24 players who can attest to this. How can someone not have been eligible when theres log records of 29 casts in the fight? Theres a print of it also indexed. Please improve on your investigations before responding to tickets with missinformation.
Greetings Marek,
Game Master Asmascattaen here from planet Nathreza, I will be handling your case further.
I understand that you are not satisfied with the outcome of your case, for sure this are not the ideal situation, specially for Drudone who would benefit from the loot, as much as we would like to be able to provide with a different resolution, there are several reasons why an item cannot be traded, we really cannot rely on information from 3rd party websites for evidence, after taking a look into this, we could not verify that Drudone was eligible for loot, but you guys are welcome to provide the quality team with a report if you believe that there was an issue, I will kindly request that you report the bug in-game since it’s the best way for it to reach our development team. Here’s a guide on how to report a bug in-game:
1 - Press Esc or click the ? button to open the menu.
2 - Click Support.
3 - Click Submit feedback or bug report.
4 - Enter the details of the bug into the Submit a bug description box, making sure to follow the guidelines outlined on the submission form.
5 - Click Submit.
These in-game reports will help the developers gather more data to understand what is causing the issue and will help them on fixing it, I thank you in advance! For more details on bug reports you can check this article here:
If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact us again! All things considered, I do hope you have a great day and I’m sure you guys will help Drudone to get even better items.
Kind regards,
Game Master Asmascattaen

3 different representatives have had the opportunity to fix this issue which comes from game side. It is very upsetting that the player simply has to deal with it because no one seems to care. Showing evidence from “Classic Warcraft Logs” holds no credibility since according to Blizzard “3rd party websites” are not valid for evidence.
What does a person need to do to be treated as a valuable customer and not just another ticket in the line for a generic answer with little to no investigation?
Evidence (player even shows in deaths 4min into the fight…) - links are not allowed, but these are classic warcraftlog reports:
