The M+ guys had the raiders on the ropes for a while but they couldn’t land the killing blow and now it looks like the raiders are set to make a comeback.
Only comeback i see here is that of necromancy.

i wonder if OP ever realized that the community is dwindling not because of what he said here, but because the game is losing far more subs than they gain over time.
Other games do restrictive gameplay better.
I hope raiders don’t get any loot. What are you gonna do? Cry? They are the best served in this game and Half of the population of the game think they are the best, and I differ. We all players deserve to be served equally served.
It was until DF that people like me, the dude that hate instances had something to do besides doing WQ, and that are entertaining. We got that because we complained. And tbh We shoul keep complaning.
also top raiders are very few. The problem is the other Half of the population of raiders that Thinks they are elite, when they are just crybabies, that want to be the centre of atention just because in the past raiding was the only thing to do in the game.

Maybe the game would overall be better off without mythic raiding or a race to world first.

Those are minority players who thinks they are the majority.
They would make an excuse that Raids disrespects their time. Tell them if Time is so precious to them, they should not be playing videogames.
