The community is improving

Wrong, they’ll have a problem with me, not the other way around.

Only the minority of select few complain about it. Most people are enjoying the game.

Very subjective, lol. Things seem about the same to me, except maybe a little worse in BGs with the trolls and bad attitudes. But how do you explain the kind of people who come into BGs but play them like they would dungeons while blaming everyone else.

So you can do no wrong? This seems like trolling at best and narcissistic at worst.

Improving=degrading in the right direction.

Its really quite simple to be a good person.

Treat others the way you want to be treated.

And respect goes a long way.

I always think the community like a beach and the toxic people are the tide

At times the tides out, making the tide look small and far away, somtimes the tides in, making it look like the tides way to close. People can have a good idar when the tides going to be in and out (end of seasons, certain pug key levels/raids, etc).

All we can do is wait till the tide gose back out

You should take note of what they’re vaping. Normal nicotine doesn’t do anything like that to me, but certain thicker substances that can also be bought and used via cartridges can ruin my lungs for a few minutes if it’s harsh.

No more and no fewer. It’s been my anecdotal experience.

I think it always boils down to what content you’re doing, how well you’re performing in a group and the overall outcome of the group.

The toxic behavior is never going to go away. If the barrier to entry is lowered, or it allows people of a greatly inflated value, then all the people who perform consistently at a high-level will be upset.

I look at it as a never ending reality. Whether it’s in the real world or in the game , we have to go up against a lot of competition, big personalities, big egos, and challenge the way things have been done but not so much that I completely upset the apple cart. Just remember, we’re always at war with the devs who want us to play a certain way because they’ve designed it as such.

So people are endlessly, looking for ways to circumvent overcome and do things, faster easier or better. After all, that’s what we’ve been doing the video games in the past 50 years. Not just beat the game, but come close to breaking it. And that’s what people want in groups; they want people to exceed excel.

I’m more entertained by just exploring on my own and not doing a lot of the competitive things

:dragon: :ocean: :dragon: :ocean:

I genuinely despise people that need life to be 100% positive constantly, constant feign “wholesome heckin chonkers vibes” bullcrap. People like this are also always the most nasty, wretched, cliquish unlikable people I’ve ever witnessed when their mask slips, too.
It’s not normal to be like this all the time. It’s not normal to speak like you’re in a playpen and a nappy. People need to go back to being actually normal.

Dont we already do that? I know/seen a few people that do Lol

Something doesn’t line up here.

Not you maybe but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t to others, everyone is different.

I said I hear vapers coughing and gagging more that cig smokers. And frankly the ones I was reffering too are kids of other residents running around with the cheap ones. Not my kids not my job too supervise them ya know. And well aware other substances come in that form. Also the reason I know it’s not the other is because my state is medical use only, smaller town and only 2 shops sell the ones they are getting a hold of which are nic not other.

Feels like most of the tools are only playing at the start of each season then leave the game so the rest of us can enjoy it.

Play a few rounds of solo shuffle and see how long it takes for someone to tell you you are trash at the game and should off yourself. Doesn’t take to many.

thats the dumbest thing Ive ever read.
We see the social contract friend…we KNOW how to READ it lol.
We see the bile in the chat box…that doesnt mean those persons arent being silenced when theyre reported. lmao.

what we DO know is now people have all the more reason to report anyone they disagree with…huh…just like this forum lol…and get them silenced or suspended.

are you actually sitting here claiming that no one is getting silenced in game for making racist, bigoted, phobic comments that we’re talking about? lmao. Because thats what it sounds like youre saying

I dont NEED to talk to anyone in game. Why would I?
Im not in someones guild. Im not doing a lot of group content.
So there is no NEED for me to talk in chat in the first place…and given the current #reporteverything behavior by some persons in game…and in here…why would we risk it? lol

I do love your insinuation that OUR choosing not to risk it = ‘you must be posting profanity and hate’ lol.

Im remembering why I put you on ignore in the first place.
my bad for getting curious and looking at that ‘hidden’ post lol

I have definitely noticed a big reduction in toxic behaviour in game.

Other than trade chat that is.

This is a video game. Not a bar room, Not a mosh pit. Not your living room.
When you are in someone elses house you abide by their rules.
This is blizzards house. They make the rules. Its that simple.
If they are trying to account for players who say vile crap that shouldnt be said in decent society, Im all for that.

if your version of ‘normal’ is being around people like Howard Stern and his profane existence, well most of the rest of us DONT want to be around that kind of trash and hate…especially given we play a GAME to get away from the hate and venom in the real world.

Heck no nothing’s changed. Even last night in TIMEWALKING we had a healer go off the rails. You couldn’t pay me to do a thing in this game with random strangers. Like going to the friggin’ zoo.

What I have noticed, playing old content, is that there are lots of people there playing old content, too. Level 70’s playing old content. Levelers are greatly outnumbered by level 70’s doing old content. To me that’s scary, because I should see levelers in old content, and that’s getting much rarer than ever previously.

A fair number of level 70s might be doing old content in search of achievements. I do this often when current content has gone a little stale but still want to play the game. I know a lot of players that immediately get into dungeon queues after getting to level 10, or right after rolling a race that starts at 10 so it might leave older zones rather empty.
