Absolutely. I would say most level 70’s are working toward old achievements. But I know a few who do Legion and BfA content because it’s what they like. Others like old raids and dungeons.
I don’t think we can quantify how many players have gotten sick of doing the same leveling quests and switched to dungeons because of that, or who switched because leveling gear is absolutely horrible and probably responsible for a big part of new players quitting early. But I do know that in leveling zones that are 10+, there are at this time hardly any levelers, way fewer than up until a month ago.
People have stopped investing in new characters. That’s not a good sign.
I had a suggestion for the main character screen.
Some people have a lot of alts we have active and deleted tabs
Could you add 3 tabs to the top of the character selection screen
or give us the ability to have up to 4 tabs at the top
this would make it easier to sort mains/alter or sort them by armor try or profession
not having to scroll through a lot of character to find the one you want would be nice.
Could also move less active alts to one of the other tabs too
something to help organize the main screen would be great.
Thanks
I’ve noticed the chat in random battlegrounds has been a lot less toxic overall in Dragonflight compared to previous expansions. Sure you still get people being toxic but it’s now the minority of matches that there’s someone toxic and they are usually called out for it instead of being matched with equally toxic replies.
People will cry about the social contract and how they got “banned over nothing” but that just means it’s working.
See how the accusations come out when you refuse to participate. It’s all about control with these people. You WILL communicate on their terms or else.
What happened is that a TON of wows players took a vacation in FF14 and chilled out. Then when FF14 took a content lull they came back to wow and chilled out at LFR levels. So now if you don’t try and touch high mythic anything people are likely to be calm.
However the people who stayed and are aiming at high level content. You may wish to give them some space. They seem about one bad pull away from making it everyone else’s problem.
I did a 12 VP yesterday, wasn’t looking great. We timed it with like 1 minute to spare, so pretty close. We wiped on the 2nd last boss 3 times. The worst thing someone said was the healer, who must have been having a hard time was “OMG”. That’s not going to get anyone banned, it’s not offensive to anyone that isn’t fragile.
I run a lot of pugs in-between my usual guild runs and besides some players not actually being great, it’s not an attitude or toxic issue.
I have to question the people that have issues with these kinds of people (seems to be a regular occurrence by sounds of it). I do know what some people are like on the forums, they’ll happily instigate to have others suspended or banned. Most people are happily playing the game with little drama, wonder why
Surprised those people didn’t pick up on what this post was about, they literally showed their true colours without me even having to probe for it.
Last time I heard someone toxic in a raid setting was during BFA. Someone was complaining about my DPS. I was using off spec to help out because they didn’t need a healer and I mained healing through BFA. I didn’t say anything, but my guild leader had something to say about it and he got annihilated over discord and never saw him in our raids ever again.
Yet to see anything seriously toxic besides a few one liners through shadowlands directed at other people in regards to their key failing or someone even leaving them. I don’t consider this as toxic. If someone is acting the fool, someone should be able to tell them to stop being a fool.
Since I have been back with the social contract, I have seen nothing. The toxic players are too scared to say anything but the non-toxic players are happy to chat.
We could even speculate what is toxicity? But surely we can just agree it refers to bullying.
That being said. I’m grouped with Illidan server a lot and even I’m seeing them be less obnoxious besides they’re elitest way of playing which doesn’t bother me anymore as long as the run gets done.
Not saying it doesn’t happen, because it does. But if someone is having issues on a regular basis, there needs to be another question thrown in there.
Are you from Canada? if not then you’re opinion doesn’t matter. We don’t turn around and sue each other like folks in the US do unless it’s really really bad.
