Its quite bogus.
You were expecting a different shaped hamster wheel that the one we run in every expansion?
Chore list is two words, not one
*For anyone else who was confused
It takes like 3 hours and you have all week.
Most of the TWW sources are also things youâre already doing unless you never touch delves or rep.
Telling us to do ALL our chores, then come back next week and do them all again before we get our allowance is still a bad look.
Chores? If playing the game is a chore you may want to quit.
Both are valid depending on whose english youâre using. You might be using a version of the Queenâs English, please update your lexicon to the Kingâs English.
It turns out the gated chorefest is only for ~3 weeks. Then when youâve hit 100 bronze (and probably gotten more gametime/renewed your sub) you unlock ungated bronze supposedly from a number of activities including timewalking dungeons.
Remix Pandaria game flow was 1000x more fun
As it turns out, thereâs a popular addon for keeping track of what to do in an expansion called Chore Tracker
Standing around listening to stories or watching people show off their mounts in âeventsâ without real winners or prizes for the sole purpose of filling a bar to turn in a weekly quest to get a tiny drip-feed of tokens is a chore and not fun or rewarding content.
Not liking lazy timegated content and calling it âchoresâ doesnât mean I dislike the game as a whole.
Then donât?
IIRC one round of the Gatecrashers WBs + one timewalking dungeon fills the bar. Thereâs two weeklies crossed off. Doing the 5x timewalking absolutely without question fills the bar, do that on alts who arenât 80 yet.
Those chores are just the game. Itâs what youâre subbed for. The only thing I find unsatisfying is that Cho only has three stories to tell. Thatâs very underwhelming considering he was a headliner.
I just wish there was a daily source of tokens. Doesnât even need to be a lot, maybe a daily that gives 2 or 3 tokens, but it would at least make you feel like you are progressing. Tying them all to weeklies isnât satisfying to me.
Then donât do them. Literally that shrimple. I donât like BGs so I donât touch them. You donât like doing the mount game, donât do it.
Literally what happened to the world where games are about prizes and not about fun?
Have you considered Dungeons, Raids, or PvP? All those can fill the bar, which you âneedâ to do once a week.
I didnât realize that doing Timewalking would fill the bar, plus my wife and I were puttering around and seeing the sights in Tanaris at the time, so thatâs how I ended up filling the bar. It was tedious and took forever.
Timewalking can be hit or miss for me, but at least itâs an option for next week.
The more I watch this debacle unfold, the strangeness of the WoW community is becoming more apparent.
Thereâs a strong sect of players on the forums which seem to have the stance which can be summarized as âShut up and eat your damn food!â ⌠while completely ignoring the fact said food is a pile of coprolite.
Itâs almost as if they LIKE eating the coprolite.
There is a quest to âhave funâ which is about the least fun thing I could think up. On the plus side I guess theyâve been hiring more veterans to help implement the mandatory fun.
People will complain about ANYTHING⌠this is quite frankly one of the easiest ways to farm a full complete very sick class specific mog set⌠no rng involved yes itâs definitely a bit tedious but itâs something to do & the rewards are at least worth it.
