And this isn’t changing, so cope. No one cares you can’t resist doing lfr. And you don’t care about all the people who want to do both lfr and other raid difficulties.
okay LFR andy. you want your cake and eat it too. i get it. you’re the main character
when I run LFR and need on everything for transmog and win, no one can complain because yall are fighting to not have a sep lockout
I don’t think you know what that expression means. All people want is lfr…as it was. So, again, take it up with the original Cata devs. They made it. You’re the one who wants it changed. The vast majority simply play the game and have fun. So no one cares about a handful of elitists crying because they feel compelled to do lfr. Exercise some restraint if you hate it so much.
Cheers.
Never ceases to amuse when someone complains endlessly that “X will cause problems” and then in the same breath admit they themselves are going to be the one causing said problem. Like, y’all know it’s not going to actually be a notable issue otherwise so you have to make it an issue yourself just to prove yourself right
LFR for the win! I can start raiding again in classic
it happens all the time on retail. so I’m just gonna be rolling for xmog just like others who will be in there
Nothing wrong with that
I’ve won actual transmog and greed rolls multiple times on retail. thanks for proving my point
So roll on it then…big deal.
Actually it is what everyone who is okay with LFR but doesn’t want to be forced to do it is asking for.
You know instead of being selfish anti-LFR people they are trying to meet the people who do want LFR half way. So they both get what they want.
The simple matter of fact is that all arguments for shared lockouts and unshared lockouts apply across the board. So either they should be locked across the board or unlocked across the board.
There isn’t a single argument that can be made of why LFR shouldn’t share a lockout with Normal and Heroic while at the same time support Normal and Heroic sharing a lockout. It breaks down and never should have functioned that way…
and claiming “That is how it originally was” isn’t applicable when we have already steer away from no changes several expansions ago. Even this expansions has changes to it. Also doesn’t help that Blizzard devs are notorious for something being wrong, they know its wrong, but they dig in their heels and refuse to to change it before it becomes a larger issue. Then they change it and says “We should have changed it sooner… sorry”.
Thank you.
I am in favor of unlocking normal and heroic from each other.
I raid normal, no plans for heroic, but the shared lock out does hamper the inter guild connections my guild has on our server.
Thats all I’ve been saying. either they all share a lockout or they dont share it at all. I would like to have the option to do heroic with my guild and do normal with friends of another guild or pug with the same character. similar to how we used to have 25m for guild raid and 10m was for friends n such during ICC
I do not however see the harm in LFR not sharing a lockout with the current normal/heroic system.
That is likely where we differ.
LFR is not a real raid, and complaints of “having to do this to progress” fall flat as tiered difficulties have existed already and few complained about it. Honestly more people in retail skip normal altogether and go heroic instantly, similar to going naxx25 over naxx10.
people in retail skip over difficulties because most of their loot comes from the M+ system
They did this prior to M+ being added in. M+ indeed did more to hurt Raiding than LFR ever did.
MoP challenge modes just had cosmetic gearsets (that im hype to get again) and were not the same. People skipped normal raids in MoP quite a bit. Was LFR or Heroic in the dungeon tool pretty much the whole time outside of the few mythic pugs.
considering LFR drops a lower ilvl than normal, none of what you said is true.
also if anything heroic difficulty kills normal, so just get rid of heroic mode and that solves the whole issue
mythic didnt come out until the WoD pre-patch
What expansion is between Cata and WoD, that didn’t have mythic dungeons but still had a large amount of people skipping normal for heroic?
Your response does not at all interact with the post you are replying to. I know when M+ Dungeons came out and I know when mythic difficulty raids came out as well.
