I decided to give it a shot on an alt and all I can say is… I’m sorry to every caster I have locked down previously. This is a horrible experience farming gear. Stun, stun, kick, enemy bubble/block/turtle, kick, stun, stun… rinse and repeat.
Unless you’re loaded with instants, pvp is in a pretty bad state.
Try doing some 1vNs as caster. Any caster that requires setup and cast times to do damage can be pretty frustrating to play when getting focused by 1+ players.
Absolutely no disrespect, but streamers opinions on the game dont mean much to me. As far as im concerned they play a different game. I’ve had no issues on my fire mage, my ele shaman, my boomchicken, or my destro/aff lock. (no more than are expected of anyone in a specific scenario, Im not out here 1v9ing anyone on any class) (in a bg environment.)
Do you consider yourself to be a Venruki level player? Because if you aren’t at his skill level, what you experience in any form of pvp combat is going to be different from what he experiences and how he deals with it. Because of that the situations you find yourself in are different from the ones he finds himself in. They are playing a different game than us.
But screw it ill bite. I wasnt saying that problems magically disappear between forms of combat, though you wont have exactly the same issues in bgs as you would 3s, or the same issues in 3s that you would RSS. That was never my point.
My point was that Venruki is not having the same experience in WSG that you are. I play with a couple people well above my skill level, and going into bgs, or arenas with them is COMPLETELY different than going with friends of my skill level. They play the game differently than we do and are put into different situations because of it.
I see that you’re just trying to use a defense that is irrelevant.
Watch the video first. The toolkit doesn’t change in bg’s. Whether or not you play at his level is irrelevant. Everyone in ss, 3’s, and 2’s are reporting the issue with ret. It has already been called a melee heavy season and ret just made it worse. Where you que doesn’t change it.
