Please tweak the cart - the zone is too small and dense and the cart moves too fast.
There are too many small obstacles around.
I have to open the map to see where I’m going, because the whole zone looks the same. The moment I do it I bump into something.
Absolutely horrible experience. With Dragonriding it was love at first sight.
The cart - I’ve already taken off my bars. I don’t care to do the silly jobs thing either so I won’t miss it
I’d rather swim than d.R.i.V.E.
There’s a slower engine you can put in it that might help you.
Visit the mechanic guy to swap it out.
I am interested if you need new parts to get gold in races or I am just bad. Gold with default cart seems impossible even when I play, what feels like, near perfect. Always north 2-3 sec.
Really odd, but I found driving in reverse to be much easier, the speed is only slightly slower than fast engine but the handling is way better. The drift doesn’t sling you around as much. Plus it’s kinda funny too when you pass people going backwards.
just press W and drive forward most of the obstacles you can drive over
jump off a ramp and you can turn left and right in the air
I was wondering this too, I get gold in Dragon riding races pretty easily but I am struggling to get silver at the moment with the car races.
The automobile has no future.

I use both mouse buttons as the gas pedal and …
… unless I’m doing a “race”, I just tap … tap … tap the buttons.
Unless I’m on the road on an obvious straight, etc, I’m never going full speed. Just tap… tap… tap.
You can even do a 180. Face the complete opposite direction and just … tap one time. Your car will take like 2 full seconds to completely turn around, but it will.
You don’t have to go full speed if you’re only going 2 blocks away. tap, tap, tap.

As with Dragonriding, there’s a skill component to DRIVE that people will have to learn.
I do, my Goldenmane has never failed me. 
What’s even the point of this event? Does it matter how many jobs you complete?
I got it done with the default cart so it is possible
The car is ok for me, only complaint is the loose steering. I know its probably part of the drift mechanic , but I turn the wheel and the car responds seconds later, Otherwise its fun.
My other chief complaint is the race track isnt marked with cones or a blue line or something to tell which way to go, If there were even checkpoints as yellow dots on the minimap, that would be better.
It’s true though. I think too many players complain about things in game that they can’t master instantly.
Sometimes it feels like General is filled with people my Mom’s age.
