The Burning Crusade Classic Release Date

Ohh I am certain that TBC Classic is coming even if blizz hasn’t announced it yet on of my guild officers confirmed that blizz is in the works for TBC Classic so their will be an announcement on the coming Blizzcon Online.

Then weeks after that the beta will launch theirs not way blizz will launch TBC out right their will be bugs and even new bugs after they put in the new WoW core code into it. I feel blizz should be getting a separate servers and people would copy their characters from Classic to TBC for one thing I do hope they will do like they did with classic launch the servers for a short time to reserve our names it will be a mess when people copy their character to TBC and find their name has already been taken by another player with the same name once they copy their character to that server they want or their guild has copied to.

Yes I think after the Beta test and the name reserve is done they will release TBC Classic some time the coming Summer of 2021.

Unless your guild officer works for Blizzard, they can’t confirm anything. The only thing Blizzard has done up to this point is sent out a survey months ago regarding BC. I got the survey, and the survey did definitely point to BC coming.

I do think they will release TBC Classic. It seems like a given in my opinion with the success of Classic. I won’t be playing it because I’m not a fan of BC at all, but I hope they do release it for those who look forward to it and hope for it.

I just hope they leave Classic alone. If they force BC into Classic, I won’t ever touch Classic again. I quit during BC once before and would quickly do it again. So as long as they leave Classic alone, I could care less what else they release. Options are a good thing.

As far as release date? It hasn’t even been announced yet. I do expect an announcement at Blizzcon more than likely. Then I would expect it to launch a year or so later.

I highly doubt that TBC Classic will be out on 2022 thats another whole year of playing classic even after Naxx is out and it will not be feb. it will be Dec 2020. I highly think not everyone will play Shadowlands those that don’t play retail will be angry if they have to wait another year for TBC to be out. I am certain TBC will release either in mid Summer 2021 or late Summer.

My guild officer got her recourse from someone who worked with blizzard so yes she says a beta will be out shortly after blizzcon Online and TBC be out 2021 not 2022.

Lets pretend that everyone on the forums has a fairly high IQ.

They said in the past that we would NEVER get a classic version released. There are interviews where they’re literally laughing at people suggesting it.

Fast forward to BFA being a dumpster fire and setting record numbers in Subscription cancellations.

Classic was released to stop the crater that BFA caused in Sub drops. Wow was on life support.

Fast forward 6 months into Shadowlands release. They’re still ignoring a giant player base (pvp’rs) and SL plays like BFA 2.0 and WOD mixed. This is going to cause the same issues as BFA. It will become a ghost town and subs will start to dwindle again.

TBC is coming for the simple fact that shadowlands is going to be garbage for the majority of players that hate retails gameplay. They treat pvp’rs like trash but fail to see that historically when pvp is bad in wow then wow itself is in a poor state.

It is 2020 you try and FORCE anyone to do something (PVE to PVP) and it’s going to blow up in your face AGAIN.

TBC is coming save this post, mark it down. But they will wait until the avalanche of subs start falling before announcing anything to do with TBC.

Shadowlands was already to far in development to change the core gameplay which is garbage. They will give you some cheesy line about releasing TBC instead of the truth.

Maybe the expansion after Shadowlands is when wow will return to greatness? That would mean their giant EGO’s would have to deflate and they would have to finally realize how bad Retail is.

you’re replying to me like I said it’s not coming. I said it’s probably coming just not as soon as people think it will come.

That is a reasonable guess, but ONLY if Blizzard already has TBC completed, and can choose to release TBC whenever they want.

It is my guess that Blizzard does not. So I have two estimates for TBC:

  • Two years from now
  • Never

WOW Classic was announced at BlizzCon 2017, and had already been expected by some because of the Nostalrius group going to Blizz HQ.

Battle for Azeroth was ALSO announced at BlizzCon 2017. BfA could have been a high-flying success, and WOW Classic’s release would have happened.

My guess is first part of next year and it will be glorious. My blood elf is ready to ride the cockatrice all night long.

Sorry to burst you bubble man, but TBC won’t be out until atleast 2022, literally you gotta be stupid to believe it will come out early next year, AQ just dropped and They haven’t even announced Naxx yet, and they will be busy working on Shadowlands for the next 6 months. And good I hope it comes out in 2022 stop rushing things man, slow down a bit.

first tier of raiding is 2-3 mnoths after SL release. my guess is 8 months after the second Warcraft Movie.

well, lets just hope they won’t release TBC any later than initially planned cause of the shadowlands delay :scream:

playing Naxx for more than 4-5 months would probably kill a lot of non hardcore guilds

Classic will be in its grave decaying if we’re in P6 for more than a year with no changes…

AQ is already stale. If they choose long timelines they should just announce.

You really think they’re gonna let Classic sit with naxx for 14+ months before releasing TBC? lol

not another one of these… TBC hasn’t even been announced.

Naxx is not even out

TBC needs a beta, don’t tell me it doesn’t

Summer AT BEST… that is if it even comes

doubt it, they are gonna wait a bit. don’t think blizz wants to make the same mistake with releasing tbc so close to naxx again

I do. Really, if people abandon Classic over having a year of 1.12, they didn’t want Classic in the first place. If Blizzard has to keep bribing the playerbase with new expansions, they already have a game that does that.
