It’s very rare to enter a battleground where <50% of my team is not DKs, and all but maybe 1 (if lucky) are obviously bots in full greens. I was in a strand of the ancient just now where the opposing team had 12 DKs. My team had 8 (mostly obvious bots).
Sometimes you get lucky and your team doesn’t have a bot, it even if you do, the opposing team is filled to the brim with bots.
The is not fun. Battlegrounds are basically rendered dead content after your first weekend getting gear. With 99% one faction servers as the cherry on top, arena is the only pvp content left. This is unacceptable.
The decision to give free DKs without the 55 requirement is one of the worst decisions ever made in classic, topped off only by the pay to win boost. Nobody was asking for it who wasn’t a botter, even boosting apologists already have a 55 character.
The biggest source of this problem is how easy it is to get powerful gear spending 1 weekend spamming battlegrounds (I’d gladly go back to the slow TBC rates over this just to make the grind more effort than it’s worth for bots), but even this is only a problem because blizzard refuses to ban bots and gives them a fast effortless source of welfare epics.
Blizzard, if you don’t at least do something about bots in bgs, real people will start quitting. This will kill casual pvp.
yesterday I hopped in a WSG and had 3 belf combat rogue bots, all with names like “Hgjhjhjskjs”, all 2.0k gs, all moving the same path (auto-running into a tree stump not in stealth)
Enemy team had 2 DK bots

SOmeone posts a blue thread sometimes as to how they take weeks of looking into this. that on the spot bans if we had gm’s in game are an issue as they can’t know right off the bat.
Last week in CTA AV horde and alliance took turns at the bot brigade. Alliance had a 12+ dk squad from benediction (even same guild) there was no doubt.
You couldn’t make a straighter line than they made on south runs with a ruler. Seen for hours on end.
Horde’s problem was whitemane based bots last weekend. You’d see that line up and go cool, dudes we can wait for everything for max honor and xp. We got all the time in the world this match.
