how? i’ve been ont his for osme time first wave is easy second is impossible
I just finished the quest. Used mind freeze on when they were gunna use it and downed the other 2 that had shields up and rince and repeat. and killed 2 at the same time and 1 in a second, Just finished the quest. UGH
i’m a hunter so ya lol

I filed a ticket, estimated time is 5 days 4 hours. Guess my campaign story is on hold for most of a week!

If that is true, it has to be bugged. That can’t be intentional, it’s just too stupid.
We just completed it - go to waypoint 37.76 and find a red glowing book looking thing. It gives you buff that lasts 5 minutes, run back up and do the quest it kills the bad guys right away and the whole thing takes like three minutes.

Yep, can’t get through the second wave on ele shaman, can’t progress through the campaign.
I was just able to do the quest finally without an issue!
Guys, I turned off ALL addons and reloaded my UI before accepting the quest, and it worked properly, killed them one at a time, no stupid gimmicks. Give it a shot and see if it works for you.
Went to that spot. No red glowy book. Just a bunch of dudes fighting and that Sergeant.
Endless waves of mobs. Game breaking bug, cant progress through the main storyline without this required quest. GG Blizzard. #SmallIndieCompany

I think it is fixed. Finally worked for me
Yeah this quest is either broken or very poorly written, I did this for 1 hour thinking it was wave survival then tried to get a group together only to find it phases everyone to their own version of the quest. My experience was that if you kill all enemies at THE EXACT same time, it progresses you to the next wave. Its really not intended to be a tough one, but it took a full hour of my life away because it was poorly executed or written.
Im not sure if it even has to be simultaneous because after I said that in general chat, folks were saying they didnt have to kill them at the same time, so all i know is this quest is a major roadblock at its current state. (I was running it on Assassination Rogue and killing 3 creatures at the exact same time with that was really tough)
Guys listen to this person do what they said because I just did it and it worked and I Finished the Quest thank god
I also did not do anything special
Can confirm, i tried again and it went like normal. Think it is fixed now.
