Is that the gatekeepers have lost all their power. No longer do I have to deal with people demanding I have a higher ilvl than what the dungeon drops. Cross realm and the teleport is just icing on the cake. Can’t wait to spam RDF like I did back in 2010!

You realize that the so called “gatekeepers” are just going to queue as a 5 stack for instant queues? They are not suddenly going to solo queue and play with you. Enjoy the 1 hour dps queues

Vote kick has a CD. It wasn’t abused in OG, and it won’t be abused now.

I’m all for RDF, but if I start running into a lot of groups with low DPS (due to the low ilvl requirement) then I’m just going to be making premades groups like I’m already doing. I think it will save me more time in the long run.
Same… just came back 3 days ago with my 5 70’s. Looks like I picked the right time. Don’t much care about raiding ICC all over again but would like to level up in preparation for Cata classic.
Hopefully GS won’t be an issue… I’m BT and Sunwell geared on all my toons. 
I remember that toxicity from back in the day.

“low dps” and premades. still remember people doing TBC groups and dungeons and failing irrelevant to any dps meter

Love this journey for you! Sure, some vote-to-kicks may take place for various reasons. Some people make it seem like you’re going to get booted every time.
What will likely happen is that a 4 stack premade will queue together and vote to kick their blueberry if they are flopping.
Hope it doesn’t happen to you. I recommend befriending a Tank or Heal friend to queue with so the DPS queues aren’t super long. Unless you don’t mind waiting!

It had a cooldown, if overused. Word from the ptr is Blizz removed it. And also that they now let players vote kick from the start of a dungeon, rather than having to wait 15 minutes.
Expect it to be abused, then.
how is the rdf? is it good ?
RDF in original wrath was meant for heroics and was super fun because basic heroics are too damn easy and can be 2Man’d, on the other hand we have H+ In classic-wrath where it force people to demand higher GS or else there will be fail wipes so people will automatically turn to be toxic in rdf and start kicking anyone with low gs anyways.
RDF Is great for those who will pre-made groups since it break the 1hc limit perday & the 5x limit dung per hour, RDF will be awesome for leveling, running basic dungeons but in general RDF will never be good to be used for end game dung like Gamma’s.

There should be a 15min cooldown to using RDF, so it won’t bypass that on its own. Maybe if they stand outside a dungeon like Utgarde Keep, use RDF and hope they don’t get UK or UP with RDF, and as soon as the random dungeon is over, teleport out and run into UK. Repeat for UP.
Hopefully they included the vote kick timer so that this can’t happen for the first 10-15 minutes of the dungeon.
You shouldn’t be able to kick someone before you even try to clear it…

It’s definitely going to be interesting to see the interactions with RDF working with these Mythic Lite dungeons, because as you say…it was never designed with those increased difficulties in mind.
On top of that, Blizz removed the 15 minute requirement before you can vote kick and apparently allow endless vote kicks. Both changes from how the system worked, which just invite toxic gatekeeping. If true, my initial thought is Blizz is sabotaging RDF. No one in their right mind would make those kind of changes.
Is it sabotage if Blizzard lets the community self police, and the community is garbage? Seems like the gatekeeping people fear is just a reflection on how people in this game interact with each other.
