FF6 was good.

I just liked X the best.

If i was to rate my favorite FF games it would be 10, Tactics, 9, 7 and 6 for top 5.

FF8 was so odd to me, it started off so good but the story just got so odd with time traveling and the sorceress.

In my opinion 10 just had the best story and side content.

2.5 hours into suikoden 1, we are poggering in the lair.

Why wasn’t Suikoden as popular as other JRPGs? I never hear people talk about it when jrpgs come up but it’s one of the best. (I’ve only played 1 and 2, much later on the PS One classics they’d sell on PSN).

Or maybe it always was as popular and I somehow completely missed it.

Not sure. The name maybe? Suikoden isn’t super recognizable. Also, FF7 came out right around the same time and blew everyone’s minds.

XII and XIII are games I can recognize as good games in their own right, I just couldn’t really get into them. I’m with you on VIII though, I played a ton of that back in the day and while I wouldnt put it in my top 5, I will defend it any day.

Huge respect for that top 5, especially the inclusion of Tactics.
