This was an immediate pre-order for me. Also eagerly anticipating Lunar SSSC/EBC remasters coming soon as well. Toss in a Switch port for Xenoblade Chronicles X coming soon and suddenly I’m a bit spoiled for choice for things to distract me from the suck that is reality.

Yeah i cant wait for Lunar, beat them both back in the day.
Id also love like a Legend of Dragoon or Xenogears Remaster too.
I also hope if this suikoden remaster gets enough attention they remaster Suikoden 3 and 5 for steam and maybe create a suikoden 6.

I only preorder things i know im going to enjoy, and this games a banger.
Oh the things I would do for a Legend of Dragoon remake, a prequel that fully fleshes out events leading up to and including the Dragon Campaign and a bit afterwards to set the stage for Dart and company and then a sequel as well. Adore LoD.
I’ll humbly admit that I’m a bit of an oddball where Xenogears is concerned. Enjoyed it, it’s a great game but it didn’t grab me quite the same as it did many. Wouldn’t say no to remasters of Xenosaga 1-3 and Suikoden 3-5.

Would be interesting for a LOD prequel, would need to have Rose in it tho cuz shes like 1000 years old.
Xenogears was solid but suikoden 2 was my favorite jrpg ever made.

I’m certain I have but for some reason I’m having some trouble recalling specific memories of it. I can see the box art for the game in my mind clear as day.
You play as Vahn and youre in a small town that gets attacked by the mist.
The mist is starting to take over the world and there is these special trees that kind of ward away the mist.
You get something called a Ra-seru that goes onto your arm.
Its a turn based combat system but with fighting game vibes, you have a bar that grows when you level and it allows you to put in commands to perform combos.
Definitely sounds familiar. I’ll have to give it a spin. Love me a good turn-based game.

I wish they made Pokemon for steam.
I wish they’d put Koudelka, Shadow Hearts, Shadow Hearts Covenant and Shadow Hearts From the New World on Steam. I own physical copies but my poor PS2 (miraculously the very one I bought the day they released) struggles just a touch and I hate to keep working it to the point that it shuts down for good.

It’s funny I can’t read the OP since it’s Ignored, but I’m going to go out on a limb and say he’s speaking of Suikoden. I already pre-ordered, installed and waiting for midnight. The first one was amazing. Never played the second, but I’ve heard good things.

The 2nd 1 is my favorite jrpg of all time.
If you liked the first game the 2nd game blows it out of the water.

We couldn’t just bond over the fact we both love suikoden, you had to bring up and make sure everyone knows you have me ignored.
It’s also definitely worth buying I know you did I’m just pointing out that it’s two games for the price of one.
