Good evening, I started The Battle of Broken Shore, Stage 7
Sylvance and dudes are not moving while staring to Tirion for 20 m

Same thing has now happened to me twice as well. Stuck on Find Tirion

i fix it by my own, just do nothing after off ship, make sure Alliance NPCs go up at the same time, then u wont get bugged at Stage7

I can’t get it to work. I tried not killing any mobs after getting off the boat. The NPCs killed everything and filled the bar to 96%, so I opened a few cages to get to 100%. The NPCs walked to the ledge and it is stuck at Stage 7 (0/1 Tirion found).
No idea what to do. This is on a Vulpera shaman (EU).

I just did this on my Horde Pandaren Monk Qingzhao on Feathermoon. Tried three time and it stops at stage seven. 2 times all the NPCs just gather together and nothing happens. One time Baine was stuck off in a building.
As I recall from doing this on other characters this is the point where Thrall makes a bridge to help us get to Tirion. He does not make the bridge and they all just stand there. I was able to jump over get closer to tirion but nothing happens.
I have tried disabling all addons and abandoning the quest and retaking it.
Fourth time and there are a bunch of NPCs stuck up in that one building (none of the leaders). There are also still two priest hanging out near where the battle began (stage 6). Al so many of the cages can still be opened after completing stage 6. Those usually become unusable after the battle.
Fifth time and it finally worked. However I did it on another character and it did the same thing with a group of NPCs stuck in that building and the cutscene never plays.
I followed the campaign and as we walked up the last bridge before Hold the Ridge I went straight to ridge where I could see the Alliance. I didn’t follow horde to ridge. Game proceeded to show Alliance battle and then a cinematic and it worked. I finished campaign. Hope that makes sense. Don’t follow horde to ridge, hang a right and watch Alliance.

Seems like opposing faction is not progressing forward without actual players of opposite faction being in scenario.

This bug is still there. I tried again today, several times, and the scenario still breaks at stage 7.
I even tried opening cages and killing mobs in a way that ensured that all NPCs were together opposite of where Tirion hangs in the air - and still nothing. Other times NPCs would get stuck in different locations, but that doesn’t seem to be relevant. I tried killing 90% of the mobs by myself and killing 0% myself - same result.
This prevents my Horde character from accessing Legion content. I have never done this on a Horde character, so I can’t skip.

bugged today at stage 7. The alliance npc didn’t even move from the beach. i left instance and it took me to where you get the quest to eat your last mean. i talked to the guy again and was able to skip it. kinda sai, have only seen the entire thing from the Alliance pov
Make sure you see the opposite faction beat the first boss, especially if you are horde…if you push up to fast, it glitches. Obviously blizzard needs to fix this, but if you don’t want to wait, just make sure this happens.

HELLO ALL I HAVE FOUND A FIX!!!
I’ve tried this several times and it pissed me off more and more but I figured it out and now I completed it.
So the reason Stage 7 is not working is because the Dread Lord (on the Alliance side) is not being killed during Stage 1.
And the reason the Dread Lord is not being killed is because there are no Alliance players participating in the scenario and so the NPCs get bugged.
So we need to get an alliance player into the scenario the same time we are doing it.
Either grab a friend, have them make an ally toon, and enter the scenario at the same time.
OR
Make a brand new FREE TRIAL wow account and multi box the scenario yourself.
I made a brand new Free Trial ally toon, queued up at the same time as my horde toon, and FINALLY played through the whole scenario with ZERO issues.
I did make a support ticket to blizz about this and they did respond.
But what they do with the info is up to them.
The fix isn’t something players should have to go thru to play the game. HOWEVER, at least we have a fix.
I hope this helps you because this annoyed me to the degree that I would type curse words if this thread allowed me to.

you already did? I’m a horde, if I need to, I haven’t done it yet
Another month has gone by, and the Battle for Broken Shore is still broken.
10.2.7 did not fix the problem. The scenario still doesn’t continue when reaching stage 7.

managed to find a work around that worked for me
I did the Broken Shore quest on an alliance alt on the same server since the Alliance side doesn’t bug out the way the Horde side will where the Alliance NPC side just never beats the first mini boss (I think it’s cause he never lands, it’s not that they don’t fight him they go to the right spot the boss just never becomes an active enemy target for them it stays in that orange/yellow immune health bar status)
I did the whole assault sequence including the teleportation of Dalarand cut scene to get my Dalaran HEarthstone on my Alliance character
Then go back to your horde character and follow the usual steps to skip the broken shore by talking to the NPC on the wolf outside the main gate and the option to skip should be there now
This worked for me, not sure if it will work for everyone and it requires leveling another character through the tutorial/starting zone first to get to the quest board in stormwind to take the shore assault but this managed to get me through this “Soft locked” situation
Same problem here, no solution from blizzard.
Still stuck as of 5/13. I just want the huntmaster title!
