The Award for Best Ongoing Game Goes to

He was the most vocal advocate of the covenant system as it launched, in Shadowlands. Just about everyone else hated what Blizzard did with covenants, but they designed it just for him.

Barthilas. His toons are untraceable because he always used alt code vowels.

Wait thats Ralph? I saw that video awhile back. I thought he looked familiar.

People preteding that they didn’t know/care about The Game Awards just not to recognize that FFXIV is a way better game than WOW

The video is josh strife hayes, who makes videos about MMO’s. Ralph only played pandas.

Ralph was one strange dude. He kept lecturing us on how people needed to make a commitment to their character and never change, but he was in the process of leveling up lots of alts for Shadowlands because I guess that didn’t apply to him.

Ohhhh ok. Thought it was him.

I hate to break it to you, but most people don’t care about the Academy, Grammy, or Emmy Awards, either.

I haven’t cared about the Academy awards since 7-year-old me watched Star Wars get robbed of Best Picture.

grats to FF14, it’s well earned.

glad to be a part of both WoW and FF14 instead of just WoW

Only awards show i watched was the one where dicaprio finally got the just dues he was owed.

That guy got passed up so much and he’s a very decent actor.

FFXIV was based almost entirely on Cataclysm after 1.0 failed. Not surprising that it’s comfy for WoW players to jump to if they can get over the fact that questing is just reading.

That is called Stockholm Syndrome.

That’s more of a personal preference.

Stockholm syndrome doesn’t apply here since no ones forcing them to play wow.

Addiction doesn’t make what I have said not applicable. Try again.

That’s not addiction though. If you wanna use the addiction argument then any game you play falls under the same umbrella.

You obviously don’t have any modicum of an idea about what qualifies as an addiction. Yes, playing games can absolutely be an addiction. Just like gambling, alcohol, drug abuse, etc.

Well congratulations! You’ve finally posted something that is correct with one minor caveat. Insert the word “can” between play and falls and there you go.

The only one with no modicum of what addiction is is you. Addiction to video games is no way similar to actual addiction.

Actual addiction can and has ruined and cost lives. Playing video games for 12 hours a day at most will cost you sleep or eye strain.

LOL! You seem like the type of person that guesses answers on an aptitude test. Again, you have no idea what constitutes as an addiction.

You’re absolutely clueless.

It has with this game as well, genius.

Are you that mentally slight? Besides “eye strain” there are numerous mental, physical, financial, emotional, etc., consequences.

You’re really making yourself look stupid here.

Aptitude tests have no baring on this.

I know what constitutes addiction, I’ve seen it first hand and playing a video game that’s someone prefers over a different video game is no way similar to addiction or even stockholm syndrome as you claim.

I’m speak strictly about your mental abilities.

Clearly not.

Oh, nice. A video game that someone “prefers” over being addicted to a video game. Do your simple mind a favor and google “World of Warcraft addiction” rather than making yourself look even more stupid.
