The AV 6 min Drek rush

I’d love for it to be deemed an changeable exploit. Mostly because it’s become an obsession among the mid-tier premades, despite the fact that it requires a top-tier premade to execute consistently. That’s all I hear is “pally pull” every time we start a match.

Now THAT is an authentic vanilla experience.

That is a terrible strat against an alliance premade. People like you are the reason why horde lose in AV. Horde cannot outzerg the Alliance. Alliance can exploit pull Drek w/o any adds and every premade does this. I for one am tired of 30 minute plus queues only to lose to Ally premades in 5-7 minutes because Blizzard refuses to fix this. But you keep thinking that Horde can outrun Alliance in a zergfest but you’ll also keep losing every AV you’re in.

Just woke up and I’m swimming in salty horde tears!!!

I win way more games than i lose in av so idk what youre talking about.
You only need like 10 people on offense who actually know what their doing to solo pull van and kill him. the other 20-25 (assuming theres at least 5 afks) can run d and slow them down

Wont happen. It is up to you to counter attack lol . These however due happen and they are indeed frustrating after waiting 40 min in queu and then get played in 6 min .

That’s what happens when you ignore your base and don’t defend it.

I can actually prove this by recording every solo-q AV I join. Are you willing to watch hundreds of hours worth of footage?

When I was mainly doing Solos, I join an average of 40-45 AVs a day, for at least 3 weeks. 1 out of every 10 is a win, and that’s because I happen to join a Premade that was coordinated. EVERY PUG was a loss. So someone is winning, just probably not you, or you’re just not seeing it often enough. Sorry, you simply don’t have any idea what goes on, on Alliance side.

For every game that you encounter that may be a Premade rush, there is at least 3-4 Pugs that are left backfilling because other premades Q dodged it, and this doesn’t include other pugs that are formed. Those pugs lose. And not all Premades are created equal. Lower tier premades don’t have a high win ratio. This is assuming you have any idea how premades work. If not, then you’re not one to talk.

Forever. There’s nothing that Blizzard even needs to address here.

Oh so the towers and NPCs and all that were just there for looks. Got it. Oh and kiting mechanics to exploit pathing problems? Intentional by Blizz I guess? OK got it.

If any of you think Bliz is going to invest any $$$ in “fixing” or whatever you want them to do in AV, you’re a bunch of idiots.

If you think someone is going to get banned or suspended for this… your an idiot.

Safespotting the flag in WSG for hours is deemed just fine, and you expect them to change AV?

Not all the NPCs are ignored, and the towers are not there for looks; they do give honor (to your team if yours remain standing). However, both the NPCs and towers are bonus objectives. They were never the win condition.

A team deciding to focus on efficient Alterac Valley matches and choosing to skip the less time efficient bonus objectives is not a “problem” that Blizzard needs to “fix.”

Kiting is not exploiting. Get a grip.

Alterac Valley

  • Spirit Guides now apply Honorless Target to the players they resurrect.

Developers’ note: We observed some behavior in Alterac Valley that can only be described as griefing—a violation of the In-Game Code of Conduct. If this had taken place in original WoW, it would have been seen as either a situation that needed to be fixed preventatively or a circumstance that called for account suspensions. We feel that the preventative solution is the more amicable one.

Unsubscribe your WoW account if you have it on auto-sub, be sure to tell them why.

Maybe comprehension is not your strong suit.

I didnt say anything about win condition. I said by allowing the exploit, it completely ignores the effort in taking towers and it completely ignores the placement of the warmasters in general.

I also didn’t say kiting was an exploit. I was sarcastically implying that it was ok to use kiting mechanics to exploit pathing. Just comprehend what you are reading instead of trying to redefine my post.

You realize this is happening because of your own faction abusing mass Q’ing for premades?

There is no exploit.

Okay, I’ll rephrase. There is no exploit. Using kiting, even to take advantage of Classic AI pathing, is not an expoiting.

In order for that to be the case, you would have to use a definition of “exploit” so broad that it’d literally include any advantage.

Cute, coming from the person who mockingly misrepresented my post as saying the towers and NPCs are there for looks.

Horde will not be satisfied until the AV experience is relatively balanced and one faction isn’t allowed to roll premades while the other isn’t. Either remove it completely for alliance or add the ability to join as a raid for both sides. Even the playing field.

Fix All PVP Racials
Fix the rear entrance exploit too alliance base
Make AV a complete mirror on both sides so travel distance, towers etc are all the same.

Oh? You said relatively balanced, so keep all the Horde advantages.

Mirror match would be great. Now let’s get rid of the premade exploits ASAP.
