So, I turned off my authenticator because I was not receiving the code on my phone. But I went to re-enable it and it’s not letting me. Even though I try to follow the instructions I see no button to do so. Instead I get a code but no where to enter it. Also is this the right place to post my question?

This link should help. If you removed it, then the drop down for “Never had one” should work.

Something I noticed is the slide out menu is asking me if I want to disable it. But I thought I already disabled it. So now I am kind of confused.

I’m having the opposite problem.
I haven’t had my authenticator enabled (nor wanted to) for YEARS, but suddenly today when I tried to log in the game asked me for an authenticator code! Somehow, the setting re-enabled itself. But I never got a code on my phone! I opened the Blizzard app, waited, canceled the request in-game & tried to log in again while the app was open on my phone, the request for the code came up in game again, but still no code on my phone nor any option anywhere in the app to grab one.
I wondered if the Battlenet app even WAS the authenticator so I went into the app store, checked my list of previously purchased/installed apps, and found the old WoW authenticator app which is indeed a different one. Installed it, opened it, was greeted by a message “This app is being retired on January 5, 2024.” So the app I already was using is the right one, it’s just NOT WORKING, ergo I cannot access the game. Even tho I was playing as recently as last night.
EDIT I just checked my account settings. “Always require Authenticator login” is set to OFF. There is ZERO reason for WoW to be demanding this code from me in order for me to get in game!

In the Battlenet app, click on your battletag at the top, click on authenticator then click on “enter code manually”

Oh! There it is! Strange, I clicked on my battle tag at the top while going thru the process earlier that I described, but I didn’t see that line. Guess I was distracted by the big part at the top (where name is supposed to be) being stuck in a “connecting…” loop so I just closed that screen after a few seconds. Just a sec…
Just to touch on this, it doesn’t mean that it will never ask. It just means it won’t ask on every login. That’s it.
Hopefully you’re able to get in using the manual code option in the app if it’s not prompting you automatically.

OK Im logged in, and it didn’t ask for a code at all time. I don’t know if it was just a glitch that happened at random, and maybe will continue to happen or not happen at random, or what. But again, this was the first (& 2nd) time I’ve been asked for an authenticator code in YYEEEARS.

Ok, I finally figured it out. I got the authenticator re-enabled, now but how do I get the extra bagspace? For example. Before I had it, and lost it when I disabled my authenticator.
That and SMS, it should come back.

As long as phone notifications are still enabled, they should unlock within thirty minutes.

Oh, ok is it under SMS Account Alerts?
Looks like this account has one. Try fully relogging, both game and launcher.
