Just wanted to share my story quick.
I’m the mother of all altaholics, and wanted to finally find not only a server, but Era to settle in.
I am aware of the nightmare that is the gearscore/HC club on Pagle. It really turned me off from WoTLK even though gameplay wise I greatly prefer it over classic Era.
Even though I’m on the east coast, I decided to create a new character on Atiesh, monitor the trade/LFG chat, and ask a few questions in trade about the community etc.
Just in case he wants to remain anonymous, there was a player on alliance in stormwind that answered my bajillion questions and was super chill. He explained the server isn’t nearly as strict with that stuff and highly recommended it.
I decided I wanted to start fresh and not transfer a character - then out of no where, he gave me 4 frostweave bags and 100g. For a completely fresh character with no looms etc, this was such a game changer.
When I asked this on Pagle, everyone actually was saying to just go to classic Era lol.
I’m even east coast but will gladly accept trading the raid time convenience for the much nicer community.
Atiesh, you guys rock. Glad to be a fresh reroll here. I even did a /who for characters lvl 10-19, etc etc. and the lvling community is even large! I assumed only classic era would have a busy world but I’m seeing players left and right! over 50 people appear for each lvl bracket… and that’s at midnight est time!
I’m very happily surprised by this community.
