The artist that designed the new priest tier set left blizzard

with blizzard HQ in california ya that aint gonna happen its best for them to move to a place far cheaper to run the company less restrictions and cheaper for people to live and travel to and california is one of the most expensive places to live in the united states.

comparing chris metzen artstyle of warcraft to the embarrasment we have now is disgusting.

Meh call me names if you want just for understanding how the labor market works.

Doesn’t change the fact there’s a point where acting unhinged and entitled might make it harder for someone to find employement regardless if that person think that’s fair or not.

I mean pretty much everytime i go on the internet now i’m thanking myself for deciding to become a tradesman and not an office worker just due to how much drama and bs i seemingly avoid by working with/for down to earth folks.

that’s awesome, but that’s actually the paladin tier, that has been given to priests by mistake.

It’s missing some clown attire along with a circus in the back with the face plastered onto it :dracthyr_a1:

The monk artist must be happy with their $15/hr

Hopefully she went on to financially greener fields with Riot and hopefully Blizzard is able to pull itself out of financial trouble and begin to one day pay its artists a wage that appropriately respects their time, skill and ability.

I used a free as heck website to make it so it’s on par with clip art. Clown goblin will be hard to find. I’ll as a signature spot but have the signature be the clown emoji.

The duck creator is gone?!

How many people did you think they hired during the Covid and “stay at home” stage of the game?

No one took the remote job as a pay raise, then moved into an expensive area away from their base of operations, and now unable to make a commute.

Good line of thinking though.

What the heck does that even mean man? Seriously. explain please, because it seems like you are making fun of my condition.

Good riddance.

The priest set is a cloth outfit with lots of flimsy ornamental pieces tacked on. How you could ever mistake that for a paladin set is baffling, especially when you can compare them side by side and clearly see the paladin set is heavy plate.

This went from “they get paid what they’re worth” to “they’re leaving to get paid more” to “this isn’t uncommon, you’d know this if you knew anything” :cook:

Literally every single forum said it looks like a paladin set, it’s the priest and that’s not gonna change but acting like this doesn’t look like a heavy armor is weird.

Especially when the artist who made it (according to OP) said this.

I play a priest and always thought it would be cool to have a bit more heavy armored set

That’s how it works in the real world. Pay isn’t a surprise. You know your pay when you accept the job offer.

People move around, especially if they are moving up and furthering their career.

The gaming industry is very volatile. A quick google search will let you read all you want and more.

When you finally step into the real world and get some experience above entry level jobs you’ll see how this works.

If someone who can make a set that incredible decided to find work elsewhere, they clearly weren’t getting paid what they were worth. That Priest set is easily one of the best sets ever made, no questions asked.

You don’t know what their salary was nor their reasoning for leaving. People do take other positions to move up in the world.

Other positions? Moving up in the world? Sounds like that other position at that other company is paying her what she’s worth, and that Blizzard did not.

Yeah, that’s what moving up usually does. A better job usually means better pay.
