This actually makes me wonder if Gilgoblins were originally planned to be the goblin AR at some point. Although its just possible they will be a customization and blizzard is setting up lore for them.

After experimenting with the carved ankoan charm. I’ve found it actually replaces some of your voice-lines. Mainly grunts and combat sounds.
Which is odd, do other toys do this?

Thats a good question, someone with more toys than I should test that.
I just tested them. It is a thing among multiple toys that don’t break in combat.

Even though I’m more of a Horde player and have been vocal about wanting races for the Horde, Jinyu/Ankoan are still one of my most wanted races for Alliance, and I hope we see them eventually become playable Alliance races in the future.

Unit Coaxial would like to express their support for playable Ankoan/Jinyu units. Long have the Jinyu served the Alliance already and the Ankoan have proven valuable allies.

Apparantly there’s datamined text that says the Naga are trying to summon the Jailer to Azeroth.
Considering it’s Naga, likely involves Azshara. I can see our fish-boys coming in to help again and become an AR.

I’d love to see the Jinyu/Ankoan be palyable. Maybe during whatever quest would lead through that the Jinyu and Ankoan could meet again and reunite too while they’re at it.

I mean they’re in Durotar at 8.3 and Nazjatar was just dropped after Azshara got rezzed.
I think the prepatch and the summoning naga will tie them off and give the Alliance Ankoan and the Horde something else.

Its wishful thinking, but it would also be nice to see a class like this playable. I bring this up because this is a class that would be playable by Jinyu. And although this is an made, this class does exist in lore.
