The Amani are NOT the good guys

Yeah, which is why the Amani are thieves for taking the Aqir’s lands.

It is a crime indeed. That is why the USA government applead a formal apology back in 2000 to all native americans that were killed and lost their lands. The high elves never made such a move. They just kept a conquest bounty and were all high and mighty about it ever since, the very worst kind of people if you ask me.

Someone invades your house? You have a right to defend yourself.
Someone moves in to an empty house nearby? You don’t get to attack and kill that person.

The Amani suck.
The elves suck.

:+1:

Which is why I didn’t justify attacking and killing.

But stealing the empty house is still stealing.

It was abandoned, making it fair game for someone to take

You keep ignoring that very important part

And the Aqir?

We’re not talking about the USA. Their laws are irrelevant to WoW

I always thought the “abandoned ruins” referred to the sunwell island.

Hard to argue the front gate of ZA and associated suburbs were abandoned.

That is depending on who owns the property. If you break in and the owner calls the police you still end up in jail.

Except it wasn’t abandoned in that they gave up claim, they claimed it as their sacred ruins. We’ve already discussed this.

You don’t have to live in land to own it.

I think that was referred to as the being abandoned

Aqir suck too, yeah.

And yet some people are worse than others.

The Amani teamed up with the dragon slavers (evil people) and then incinerated 1/3 of Quel’Thalas’ forests.

Then they did nothing as Arthas blighted the land itself.

Meanwhile, the high elves helped defend the world in both wars.

They are not the same.

The one thing I object to here is your use of the term “abandoned” implies it was ever occupied in the first place. It was empty land that Amani had no interest in, because it didn’t have any valuable resources. The elves were only interested in it to use as a home.

Plenty of societies all throughout history have migrated and cohabited for thousands of years. In fact, the Polynesian people (who make up a huge chunk of the American continents indigenous populations today) were some of the most prolific colonists in history, and for the most part they did so peacefully, and in uninhabited lands.

High elves caused the Sundering. And then abandoned the alliance first chance they got. They had it coming.

Here’s a little life hack for you kids: if someone is posting about how horrible and evil the elves are, and the character they post with is a blood elf, don’t take them seriously.

Remind me of this argument next time the Orcs chop some trees in Ashenvale. They are usually the first to cry blood about it. Funny enough.

Weren’t the high elves fighting the Amani the whole way while pushing further into their lands to find an ideal leyline spot to found Quel’thalas?

Of course they aren’t the same.

They all still suck, though.

I mean, it was, that’s why it had ruins on it.

This comes off as headcanon.

Yeah, they went south to north.

Yeah. But that was because the Amani kept attacking them first
