There isn’t.
It sucks your favorite race of the Alliance isn’t Blizzard’s.
But your faction is constantly the star of everything.
Meanwhile none of our races, nor our faction, get to shine. We exist to pat the Alliance on the back and tell them they’re always right.

There is. And you missed it. Which is my point. You don’t want to see it because it takes away from your victim mentality.
Humans and elves suck. Deal with it. Most of us actually hate the constant attention those two receive.
And just because the alliance is always the center of attention, doesn’t mean any of it’s good or even enjoyable. Most of it’s just a steaming pile of garbage

This is hilarious coming from you, given “but worgen” in the face of Genn being one of Blizzard’s favorite alliance characters.
He’s the High Regent of the Alliance right now.

The actual RACE itself hasn’t been relevant since…well since ever. It’s funny how none of this is even told to us ingame. It’s a pretty important piece of information that isn’t even relayed via the actual game
I get it. You want to the horde to have it worse. Even when it’s blatantly false
“Muh race matters more than your entire faction!”
Where have I seen this before?

You know all I care about is the worgen and draenei alliance side.
I’m not faction brained like some of you are. Just going to have to deal with it.
It doesn’t matter.
The game is sold as bifactional.
Both factions need to be portrayed well.
Both factions need to be stars.
Only the Alliance is portrayed well.
Only the Alliance gets to be the stars, unless the Horde’s leaders need to be evil and/or die and have their souls turned into trinkets to be disenchanted.

It does matter because I’m allowed to push for my fav races getting more attention. This works both ways.
You’re just going to have to deal and cope with the fact that I don’t care about your victim mentality

What does that have to do with the price of margarine in canada?
you’re the one in here telling me I can’t push for my faction because your race “has it worse.”

No. I said I don’t give a damn about your victim mentality.
The problem you have is that you’re not interested in an actual HONEST conversation about issues surrounding the horde. You just want to be a victim

To be fair, that isn’t really how they do story anymore. Leader story = race story.
If I may, I think Karestae was saying worgen have it “just as bad,” not “worse.”

Educate me, Micah.
What are the problems the Horde has?

Pretty much. I’m not claiming they have it worse. Just that I know what it feels like to feel left behind and forgotten by blizzard.
And I’m not obligated to like it. Besides, it’s not like Genn is in our face every expansion like Jaina and Anduin are.
Even if I wish the Old Wolf would show up more.
Couple things here:
First, that is not what plan means. There is a reason the phrase ‘detailed plan’ exists. Having a plan to do something does not require knowing all the details. They had planned to do a different companion each season. When they later decided it had to many drawbacks the changed plans.
Second, you have no idea how far they got in the design process before they decided the costs were higher then the reward for doing it.
Some might not. The same way you have Horde players that are refusing to accept the Alliance getting story in the first patch despite knowing 1) Blizzard has already promised it will be balanced, 2) We already have evidence of a Horde centric patch.
People being childish doesn’t make them correct.
The entire rest of this expac and the next one could be all Horde story, with no Alliance characters even present and he would still be here complaining Horde was not getting enough attention. Don’t waste your time trying to reason with him, reality is not something he is concerned with.
Also Genn has officially retired. We wont be seeing much of him going forward.

“If I say this, it is true even though there is no evidence to it at all in any way, shape, or form. Don’t interact with him on good faith on my word alone, even though I lied in this very thread and said Shadowlands was a Horde expansion.”
Amazing.

Yeah. I just hope they do something good with Tess eventually. I don’t dislike her or anything, she just needs more screen time and good scenes

Genn is the High Regent as of the new thinger.
I forgot to get back to this, but expecting one race to get comparable story presence to an entire faction is like… the height of greed.

“We’ll switch them out somehow” without giving thought to basic considerations like how to handle the XP is not a plan. It is, at best, a concept of a plan.
But I don’t feel like sitting around quibbling about the definition of “plan” beyond that, so I’m gonna leave it there.

Probably not, but a lot of goofy dorks that who get offended on their behalf. The same crowd who bray about things being [insert ethnic group] coded. It’s a small group but a loud one, and ironically ends up completely sidelining those groups because the company doesn’t want to deal with the backlash.

I have no strong feelings on Brann - I’ve run HoS so many times over the years he may as well be neutral - but I’m stumped as to who his “Horde” counterpart might be in the elf expansion. Valeera? Not Horde. Liadrin? Thalyssra? If either is wasted on follower duty I will have strong feelings. Salandria? Valtrois? Oculeth? Brightwing, before he dies in the story to give Alleria his job? Bloodwatcher, maybe, if they remember Brann actually does have a Horde counterpart?
… who am I kidding, it’ll be Valeera.
