The Alliance is too powerful (and that's not a good thing)

I don’t see how the two are related. Just seems to be more false equivalencies.

I would grant you a point if the story itself presented as such but it doesn’t so its just your personal opinions that we need to evaluate.

We have already debated the Broken Shore and Stormheim so I won’t get into that again. Its clear your have your own opinions and I have mine but I would never use those events for a carte blanch to the Horde as you seem to be.

Lol its just a game. Chill.

Thats not my point. So you clearly misunderstood me and the rest of your post is not worth reading.

Lithya, you are pretty disingenuously misreading Ariel’s posts. It’s pretty scummy of you.

Oh, I got it perfectly fine. You on the other hand are trying -and failing- at backpeddaling (cause according to you Akiyass was right to call Curse a Criminal againts humanity Dictator because he literally said he finds irrelevant the dramatic direction devs took with Nelves but now you try to use the easy way out that you don´t mean she was right in regards to Curse´s moral irl stance… in other words you contradicted yourself and weren´t smart enough to hide it), so for your own sake stay away from the discussion if you don´t even get what it is about.

Maybe I am. Can’t say I try to follow her epic rants spanning dozens and dozens of pages.
But the few I skim seems to be just about lore and not actual real life personal portrayal.

Joffrey in GoT is my favorite character because of how much of an epic bastard he was but that doesn’t mean I condone what he did.

Give up. You are digging yourself deeper.

Lol digging myself deeper into what?

This would mean more if the Alliance was ever allowed to do anything and have it stick longer than ten minutes.

Guess what!! According to Aki´s fail argument, You´re Adolf too!!!

/facepalm

Making youself look like an idiot just to antagonize me is not the smart way of making yourself noticeable in these forums, dear…

He voiced his support of Genocide. It’s one thing to find enjoyment in a villainous character, it’s another thing to voice your moral support for the actions of a genocidal character. Lithya said it best.

You don’t have to justify the actions of a character to like them. The moment you do though, you are making a statement about your own personal morality.

I like Sylvanas. I don’t agree with the things she has done.

I am not even going to even pretend to know what that means.

Wrong, he voiced his support on the story direction related to a ficional race, no more and no less. People can do that and not “become racist” nor much less downright monsters. I find The White Walkers miles more interesting in “The Song of Ice and Fire” than the lame human characters, that doesn´t make me genocidal. Stop using this argument cause you WILL fail with it always.

Giving up… first smart choice you took here. Good girl, next time simply avoid the mess.

True. Its all about preference.

Not really it depends on how you frame it.

No… here is what he said.

Nothing about what he said had anything to do with the narrative direction of SylvanaS. It was all a personal agreement and support of the character’s actions.

When challenged on it, his response was just another was:

Which is just another way of saying “Its fine if I don’t get caught.”

Never did he express a personal condemnation of genocide, but he did express a support for killing any and all of a particular group of people.

Ariel, don’t. They are convinced Horde players are actual bad people. It’s a waste of time to argue.

Maybe Cursewords can clear this up.

But I very much doubt he would use:

And…

In a real world setting.
Afghanistan is home to Al Qaeda and the Taliban and I doubt any American (Including Cursewords assuming he is American or not) would be ok with the Americans conducting a nationwide poison gas or nuclear strike attack to wipe out the “enemy”.

Incorrect.

Where I live, it is totally fine to smoke a doobie and drink a beer in your home. If a cop came to my house, it is totally legal.

It is not about being caught. It is about the venue.

Somethings are fine in one venue - like a video game - that are not fine in another - like real life. It is a shame this needs to be said.

I certainly don’t dance naked on mailboxes IRL. But I may do that in game. I certainly don’t advocate chasing Orphans into dark corners or dancing naked at random banks IRL… just because I do it with gusto in game.

In other words: he expressed he was totally fine with the story direction taken regarding the Night Elves. I don´t see him ranting about being 100% in favor of the modern white racial supremacist groups or the genocidal campaign conducted in the former Yugoslavia or something similar.

Night elves are not people, they are humanoid creatures of fictional origin (even irl worms have more rights than them). “Human rights” and the Geneva convention don´t apply to them no matter how much you want to pretend they do.

Stop calling people names over fantasy non real entities, that just makes you look superficial and dumb.

You are right, it is a waste of time…

Teldrassil is NOT a real world setting, this is not a place to discuss not much less asume that opinions put here would apply to real world setting and if you rather assume everything people manifest here is 100% a reflex on their irl moral stance, then do all of us a favor and take your ignorant toxic attitude elsewhere… maybe GD, they love that in there.

But do you or do you not support Sylvanas’ actions? Would you agree with burning down an entire village of civilians, in a country that you would consider an enemy?

Would you support unleashing a chemical weapons on a civilian population in an enemy nation?

If so, you are an advocate of genocide and a horrible person. If not, then you do not support Sylvanas.

You can like her character, and maybe you want to see her succeed because you find that, narratively more interesting. But you cannot say her actions are morally good or justifiable without being an advocate for the mass slaughter of innocents.

Since Blizz has made the Alliance 9999x stronger than the Horde, the only way they can make the Horde a threat is by making the Alliance also 9999x stupider.

Like marching an army of ground troops into UC with no Blight protection. Or Jaina declaring that the Alliance shouldn’t defeat the Horde after Daz’lor…cause that would make the Alliance worse than them (wat).
