I think it’s so funny how it looks like they give up and just sit around their only base.
It’s the only life-like thing they do so far.
i’m not complaining. i was finally able to get the weekly done in under an hour as opposed to 6 3/4 days…
Yes, every game ends with a 5-cap and/or a GY camp.
I do have hopes the AI is utilized in PVE. It’d be more fun to have those “Kill Dr. Whatshisface” quests be more like a duel than the typical “npc runs right at you and stands there until dead”.
I found it to be remarkably impressive. Still got a ways to go though to be more realistic/a threat. Needs a lot of work on strategy.
They could also tune down some of the obvious automation aspects like being super stunners/interrupters. Or focusing a target like a well oiled machine.
But an impressive first step.
In before the AI starts posting about getting GY camped and threatens to unsub.

Starfall numbers were just silly.
More band-aid instead of any real fix. Fundamental issues glossed over because why fix pop we can just fill it with AI bots
Why fix loot when they can just farm bad conquest gear off bots.
Honestly why fix anything. Fill game with bots so it looks full.
I don’t know when player vs player became player vs computer but I’m pretty sure I would go PVE if that’s what I wanted.
Gotta say though the gathering at blacksmith over and over? That is pretty player like lol.
Blizz trying to make it as real as possible. 3/4 of the team at BS, the other 1/4 fighting in the middle of the road.
Add those few that jump down the cliff and come at mines with half hp and they would be solid
I’ll give it a go later in the week. Sounds entertaining for a match or 2.

I just hop they do not going making AI harder by just upping damage numbers and HP pools.
But actually work on AI decision trees.

Well they at least try to cap the node better than actual players. Watch them run past the fight and try to cap lol. Not bad for first real attempt in doing this.
Makes me think…they should make dumb / bad AI.
AI that fights in roads.
AI that sits at main spawn too long.
AI that fight off of flag.
AI that leaves the BG after initial capping seems like a loss. Even make a new one come in. haha
