It is 3am, I am farming nagrand for less and less AH returns on materials towards buying epic flying.
How is your epic mount grind going?
I am currently at 2,456g so I have a ways ahead of me but it is gonna be so cash when I can fly fast haha

I just got my epic flying few days ago. It’s funny that I was so used to slow flying and couldn’t adapt to 290% speed (with riding crop) for the first few days. Now I am completely broke

I thought about working towards it, im about half way I guess, not even 70 yet. Then i saw what im not being charged for a sub vs how much I play lol its not happening
haha and the grind for cash begins again, circle of life innit

Forgot to mention that having gold making professions like herbalism and alchemy really helps alot for the grind

Yeah I spent a lot of my cash on gear upgrades and such haha, been farming stuff now and levelling a priest alt and might funnel the quest cash to my main.
Questing in Netherstorm if you haven’t done those quests is excellent gold; they yield quite a lot for very little effort.
Surprised nobody is asking for the epic flying price to be changed.

haha yeah I went Skin/LW which while having its moments isn’t the biggest cash maker.
The hardest part is coming to grips with the fact that once you finally get that 5000g…it doesn’t do anything for any of your alts. 5000g per alt…ug!
I lvled 60-70 only in dungeon so i did all my quests once 70 and its a very good way sadly if u are dps its pretty impossible

Definitely recommended completing quests in all the zones, especially Netherstorm & Shadowmoon. Between that and just getting gold from farming dungeons for rep & attunement you’ll get there before you know it.

haha yeah getting a group as a dps can be rough

Hah. I was just thinking about this same thing man. Currently at 3,900g. In the last 2 days I have made about 2,000g though. I got serious about my farming when I FINALLY made my first flask discovery with alchemy and what a discovery it was. Flask of Relentless Assault… and I’m a hunter! It took me about 2 weeks to make the discovery and I always making elixirs to sell. So, farming Mana Thistle is pointless so I buy it at the crazy prices it sells for, 200g+/stack I spend about an hour farming Terocone and that usually comes out to a little over or under 2 stacks. I make 6 flasks and with any luck I get a proc or 2 and post 7-8 flasks in the AH. I do that 3 times a day. Averaging about 400g for an hour and a half of work when you consider the mana thistle I have to shell out for and the fact that those flasks sell for 75g each.
The extras are also the Primal Life and Dreaming Glory/Felweed I collect that can be sold or used for other Elixirs. I was struggling hard for a while but as soon as I made the Flask discovery everything turned around for me. I went the primal farming route for a few weeks but the competition can be tiring and the drop rates of those motes can be so good and so bad sometimes, hah. And then you have to deal with the prices going up and down in the AH. I’ve seen Primal Fire go for as low as 23g and as high as 38g on my server.
The grind sucks but with a good podcast or sports talk it can be a breeze. Take care and good luck with the farming. “It’ll be all worth it once you get that epic flyer!”

PS. I got my epic flying as soon as I hit 70. I had 2k saved up before launch. This was a boostie. =)
Now, my lv67 BE Mage has 2700g gold. Dont think I’ll have it at 70, but within the first week for sure. =)
that really lifted my mood 
I have 3x70 and slow flying makes me want to quit the game before I’ll get 15K gold.

Badly, I got normal flying so any gold this toon makes is going to alts. Probably a bad way to play but I’m already content.
