The 5 o'clock Orb Battle w/Jeremy Feasal

Well, I have been working at this with pet combos that aren’t already on the list, but it is SUCH a pain having to deal with the “only in the realm for 5 minutes” situation.

I’ve gotten really good at dodging that ghost in the hallway, though, so I supposed there are benefits.

For my win, I used

Taptaf, Spyragos, and the Snowclaw Cub

I’ll go back and try some other combos to see if we can make life easier for people. I just got Hungering Claw recently, so I really want to use that one, but I haven’t found the right combination, yet.

I also ADORE my Francois. I use my fancy chicken in a LOT of battles that require multiple hits (the double egg/coin DoTs are a /chef’s kiss for some fights).

I also feel bad for poor Jenafur. She’s adorable and creepy and I love her, but I have never successfully used her in any pet battle…ever.

Who did you guys use?

What I used was based off of the strategy linked below, with a little bit of variation after first attempt failed:

  • I switched to Deep Burn for Spyragos 2nd attack slot.
  • I switched to Tail Sweep for Nelthara 1st attack slot.
  • Wicker Pup switched to Chaos Nova (2nd attack) and Ghost Bite (3rd attack).

It took me 2 tries to beat Jeremy.

I’d really like to find a way to make a combo with Taptaf, Terky, Francois, and/or Wicker Pup work because that would make life easier for the people who just don’t do pet battles and are trying to get into it. All four of these are super fast and easy to obtain (a million gold for Francois isn’t as rare today as it was back in BfA).

If I could make Taptaf, Terky, and Francois work as the trio, people could literally have all three of those pets in less than an hour.

I think some of the ones that are harder to get might put new people off of trying, and I always think these occasional events that push people into the world of pet battling are an opportunity to introduce new people to it.

The way I see it is: if they’re willing to do all this work for the mount, maybe they’ll decide to do the work for Waist of Time/Baa’l series or for Sun Darter or Hungering Claw.

Especially since you aren’t spending it … just merely need to be in possession of it.

Back then, I got together with three guildies and my husband. We pooled all our gold together and just traded it to one another to get it. ha ha ha

I still need to do those … and the Lucid Nightmare. Just gotta find the time!

They’re really fun but really time consuming.

We did it all of those as a group (Hive Mind, as well) between raid tiers at the end of 8.2, 8.3, and 9.1

The great thing about the secrets is that they don’t go away. Whenever you find the time, they will still be there.

I got really lucky with that one. Had a friend request me to join their group right at the very end. It worked out having me help them though. At one point, there was a section that one of the party members (male Tauren) could not fit through – so Lock closet to the rescue!

He has the same pets in the cave that he has at Darkmoon Faire. Of course, you’d have to wait until next month to experiment more, but you’d have more time.

Holy jeebus. A million?

Oof… this should have been one of the quests you could get credit for by standing nearby. Simply getting three of these pets (don’t have any secret pets yet) is going to be a pain, but then leveling them to 25 and upgraded so they don’t fall over in a single attack is going to be another pain (only have 1 level 25 pet because leveling is so slow).

Anyway, obviously ranting… guess I’ll get to it. Ugh…

But you don’t spend it on Francois. You merely have to have at least 1 million gold in your inventory.

So someone could loan you enough gold to get the pet and you just give the gold back to them after.

Levelling is not slow.

There was a ime when levelling was slow, but it is not slow now.

Given only a bunch of level 1 pets (which I could buy for almost nothing from the AH, if necessary) , I could get my first pet to 25 in under an hour.

After that, I could get a second to 25 in less than another hour. Call it an hour and a half for both.

And given these 2 specific pets, that I could buy on the AH for maybe 5K-ish, (less if I go some other ways that might take some extra time) I can get more pets from 1 to 25 at a rate of about one per 8 minutes - maybe a bit less, depending. As many as I want. Twice as fast during pet Week, but tonight is not in Pet Week.

This is all true. And anyone here can tell you how to do it. Today. If you want to.

Okay, so here’s what you do. Go to the various zones that have WQ pet battles awarding coins.

You can use teams of level 1 pets for those, and it’s fine. They scale.

Get yourself 35 pet coins as rewards from the battles. The rewards vary, but you’re generally looking at between 15 - 20 per WQ battle. If you would like advice, please ask, and I will happily assist you with winning those.

Once you have 35 pet coins, you can trade them for an Ultimate stone. We call them “purple stones.” This will raise any pet from 1-25 instantly.

For 15 pet coins, you can purchase Marked stones. These will raise any pet quality to Rare. If any of the pets you want to use in the battle are not already rare/blue quality, you can use one of these to raise them to Rare. These blue stones are also commonly available as rewards from WQ pet battles, so if you see one, go and get one for free, saving the coins you earn for buying the purple stones.

Between BfA, Shadowlands, Dragonflight, and TWW zones, you should be able to get more than 100 pet coins in one day, easily. This is the fastest way to get it done for people who are just starting/haven’t done any pet battling in WoW.

I am happy to help. If you were Alliance, I would group with you and loan you the gold to get the chicken. You don’t have to pay a million gold. You just have to have it on your character. Since you’re Horde, and since you don’t need Francois, I will recommend getting the Wicker Pup, Taptaf, and Terky. Those three pets all count for the quest, and all three are very, very easy to obtain. You might do better with a Spyragos and a Nelthara. If you have ever leveled an Evoker to level 70+, you can spec it for Augment and do a short quest to get Nelthara.

I just wanted to mention that there is a new addon for the Lucid Nightmare Endless Halls part and it works extremely well. I did that 2 weeks ago and finished it in about an hour.

That is amazing. It took us forever, and while we had a good time doing it all together, I am SO GLAD they made a mod for that. It was…frustrating and tedious at times to do that puzzle.

I’m confused on the whole thing, I’ve beaten him a few times using different teams and he will not give me the cupcake, I have all the steps that lead up to it but I’m unsure what else I can do

Three possibilities come to mind here:

  1. You did not complete the 4th orb first.
  2. You have one or more pets in your teams that are not on the list of approved pets.
  3. Your battles were ending in a draw rather than a win (such as an undead pet in his undead round being the only pet left at the end)

Are any of these possible?

Here is a link to the complete list of approved pets that will work for the battle:

I am not allowed to post links, so I left spaces in there…but this is the link you want. By the by, you can also find a list of proven strategies with different combinations of pets on that website by clicking on “Jeremy Feasal” at the top of that page.

I have to have all pets on the approved list? thats kind of lame… i used Murkastrasza, Celestial Dragon and the Wicker pup

I mean, it’s a WoW Secret. Jumping through some hoops is part of the process. Defeating Feasel with the right pets is nowhere near the hardest thing we’ve had to do for these things.

The secret pet is bs… i should be able to use whatever pets i have to win… RNG is rigged
