Big true so your 16 is comparable to 23’s? I really don’t think so but alright then.
Not even trying to ego chall you. Just saying in high keys mana is a problem right now. It’s not just me saying this. Try checking out healer forums.
A lot of people are triggered by Evokers right now too. Not only have they been borderline the best healer for the last 6 months, but on top of that they hardly even use mana too. So they never have to pot over an entire dungeon. Other classes are having to pot 15-20 times a run to put out the same healing.
There is a clear imbalance between amount of mana and amount of healing with an equal pool.
A 25% increase in damage is far more effective on mobs than a 25% health increase on characers. As mitigation didn’t change at all. Only tanky classes got any real benefit with the health increase. That Mage over there? That 125% damage is gonna hit way more than the 125% health they got. Especially since said Mage isn’t hitting any harder than before the change.
So it isn’t from 100 to 400 to 125 to 500. That’s simplifying it and ignoring all other factors.
So false it hurts. Keys are like a race bro. The faster you go the better off you are.
Me sitting on the ground drinking for 35 seconds every 2 pulls means a lot isn’t being done.
I could be doing more damage in that time speeding us up. Or allowing my group to pull because they aren’t waiting on me to get mana. Every little thing you waste time on adds up in a M+.
I am a top 2 percent player. I think you are just having a hard time understanding my perspective. You did 16’s and had no problems. That’s great but you aren’t everyone doing keys in the game. You don’t even know what it’s like at the top end of keys to be judging them.
The issue is other DPS that aren’t the shining stars of solo.
Doesn’t help that the new area has a lot of mob density in the questline that will murder those classes. As they’ll get mobbed.
I kept seeing players dying left and right in the last parts of the current quest as they couldn’t just pull one mob. It was always 3-5, or even more.
Had a lot of players around me just wait for me to pull, due to my Clefthoof tank, as they couldn’t do the quest otherwise without repeatedly dying. Doesn’t help that those quest elites, always in groups, have way too much health and hit hard.
How is a fresh 70, after Forbidden Reach intro, supposed to survive down there? Cuz the quest gear you get is utter garbage.
Ret bouncer replies “mobs do 25% more damage and you have a larger health pool”
Prot pally,
“Don feel (hic), don feel (hic), I’m fine”
(what? I’m chaotic good)
<tries to finish ale, drinks some, wears some>
“Les go overt(hic), lesgotath(belch), les go cross street ta prot warrerer bar and see wha dey say”
If you want to bring ego into it, sure. I’m a former top 0.1%-er who actively coached current RWF players as well as being in regular communication with people who are hired by RWF guilds to build comps with the RWF players. All the healer thoerycrafter resources you use, all the players even the RWF players go to for information – yep, that’s my network. I trust their opinion.
There’s being stressed on mana and being starved of mana. We’re not being starved for mana.
I am what people call “washed up” because im old and I dont want to play at that level anymore.
He’s not lying, you need to learn to find this kind of information out on your own. It took me 4 mouse clicks. Not only are you screaming about open world content being too hard but you’re calling people liars just because you don’t know how to use the armory. lol
What does the mage not hitting harder have to do with anything?
Every M+ week that has them do anything but heal. “Why am I doing explosive orbs, I am a healer. I should heal only”.
Ironically, whenever affixes make them heal more, a select group also complains on the forums. I think many people play healers so they dont really have to do anything, and get mad when they do.
And most, if not all of those got a massive boost to their own healing.
