I mean. If anything it would have hurt the “casual” melee players more than the top 0.1%. The entire point of this thread and many posters is that they nerfed it due to the top 0.1%.

You should probably read his OP again. He clearly is crying about the game being balanced around the top 1% even though this is an open world change and had zero to do with them.

You seem to be confusing the OP (as in the person who created this thread) and the person that was quoted in the comment i quoted and replied to. I simply said that Maizou’s comments were perfectly reasonable but Tyrmaul had labelled it as “crying”. I said nothing about the person that created this thread.

The ranged trinket was waaaay overbudget. It needed a nerf regardless of melee usage.

Healers didn’t need nerfed, my god, healing was just getting fun again… Already fought through the 40% healer nerf at the beginning of the expansion, with all the dungeon nerfs and healer buffs, was finally to a good spot. Then they turn around and did it again… And the cycle will continue…

As a healer main the thing that annoys me the most isn’t even the flat nerf.

It’s that LITERALLY half the healing specs in the game are and have been suffering from mana problems already. Now we are going to scale up HP, and make damage higher. Requiring even more healing than before.

Yet they haven’t fixed any healers mana problems at all. This has been an ongoing problem all expansion.

There was fight’s before that already full on oom’d me from 100 percent (Example Last boss In Temple). So what am I supposed to do in this situation exactly? Stand there like an idiot auto attacking?

This change is going to make mana hungry classes feel like utter garbage permanently. At least before I could sneak in 4-5 drinks. What am I to do now? Pot every single pull, sounds amazing…

You wanna make us pump 25 percent harder? Fine I can take the challenge. At least buff our mana pool and regen to make up for the extra mana we are spending.

Maizou also has a reputation of not really having a clue and crying as well though.

While I agree what they said wasn’t crying this time. They still have that reputation.

ofc it was OP…I knew they would do something when the elites were doing very high keys without healers…

may have been justified idk…i’ll trust blizz on this one.

As a healer main, I’m not having issues tbh. Yeah, it’s rough, but it’s with reason. I’m just glad we’re not going to overheal 30% now.

I can honestly say that i don’t pay attention to the names of people here, i don’t really know who the regulars are like i did on the old forums. Like, even know you got a little snarky earlier, i could bump into you tomorrow and discuss something without any grudge being held or anything because i just don’t care enough to make a mental note of who’s mean or whatever lol

I think it’s always best to just discuss what is being said right there and then in that conversation without having any hang-up’s about individuals based on their past behavior.

Well your highest key is a 16. Try doing a 23 and tell me how great mana is right now lol I literally have to pot so much that I have to strategize where I am drinking at throughout dungeons.

For me mana didn’t start being a thing until like 18’s.

My highest key is a 16 from 3 months ago when damage was 100% higher.

(You can also look to PTR testing for data, instead of looking at random forum-goers’ Mythic+ history. That’s what I do.)

To be fair. The person did state we were all wrong and missed that mob health also got buffed 25%.

(which didnt happen).

I don’t know, they really got their knickers in a knot when there was a 0.01% chance that a world quest trinket could win the proc lottery of titanforge (is that the correct name?) and be better than a raid trinket lol
