Bobby and his lapdog mike ybarra (dont care how its spell) dont care anymore. It would take the entire blizzard team shutting down the servers and walking out. Never going to happen since bobby screwed the whole activision/ blizzard team. If they did it now, he would wait till payday and shut the company down.

Well, I will bite. This is false and the 1% actually falls within the margin of error. You actually build software and improve the UX for the average mean score. So the 70 percentile area. A 5% margin of error is deemed OK but you try to aim for 3.5%. So to be honest the Mythic+ 21+ and Mythic raiding 8/8 crowd would not even be considered. But since they use these players for marketing, they tend to try to focus the excitement around them.
Anyways, why does it feel like WoW is readying for another pruning of bloated stats again?

Thatâs not true. I have a 418 warlock that I was doing the ultra-rare circuit on for daily dragon egg knowledge, and I used to be able to crush every single rare. And I should, right, 418 verse some open world mob?
Post patch engaging one of these with trash nearby is very risky and there are some that even when pulled alone are basically unlikable. One of the centaur dudes I averaged about 60k for 5 minutes before I decided to just leave.

I mean, except it is. Our damage hasnât been changed. Their health hasnât been changed. Their damage output has increased 25%. Our health has increased 25%. Unless you are a healing spec, this change has done nothing to make you weaker.

No healers complained about having to DPS⊠What they didnât include in their posting is that they didnât want to have to be pressing a button every GCD⊠Blizzard in the standard corrupt a wish fashion ensured that they have to press a key every GCD.
Except itâs not just mobs damage that increased. Any mob that can heal or shield is now much better at that, combined with what amounts to effective nerfs of mend pet, health funnel, self sustain, and spell power based absorbs like frost shield.
Any player used to soloing open world content is very aware how much harder things are now.

No, it doesnât. Player damage relative to mob HP was unchanged.
Only mob damage and player HP were changed, but they were changed in alignment with each other. The only thing that got nerfed was external healing, because healing was not buffed in line with the HP/damage increase.
False. All sources of player self sustain have suffered with this nerf while any mob with sustain mechanics has had those increased.

I donât think you know where things source their values, ice barrier is health based and they have definitely increased mob damage historically without increasing enemy sustain effects (see 40% adjustment at the beginning of the expac)
Edit: also non %based player sustain was adjusted in some cases along side this change
Incorrect. Because the 25% damage increase is to all monsters including ones you fight solo. If they had only increased the damage and health while in different dungeon or raids that would have better targeted the " problem " they were trying to address.

Ok but health and damage went up by the same amount so before if you had 1000hp and a mob did 100 damage it took you to 90% now you have 1250hp and the mob does 125 it still takes you to 90% mobs have the same damage relative to your health to the end result is no effective change if you arenât a healer/donât have a healer

Actually the opposite. They did it so healers in low keys (19 and lower) have an excuse to not DPS because they have to heal more.

I mean for class balance they kind of have to. If you were to balance classes around the majority of players (who have literally no idea what theyâre doing and miss globals often). Then class inbalance will be SOOOOO high for even slightly harder classes. Then it will still trickle down and people wont invite the classes the top players dont invite even tho some classes are better at lower levels than some of the best classes at higher levels (for pve)
probably this. They even said in an interview somewhere, Iâm sure someone can find it Iâm too dang lazy. But they donât want healers to DPS, only heal. In other MMO(s), healers are expected to always be doing something, so if someone doesnât need healing, they can do DPS. In WoW, healers are expected to sit there and do nothing and pretend to heal (overheal) to look busy in times of downtime, since blizzard doesnât want them to dps.
the solution is instead to get rid of all damage abilities from healers, since blizzard doesnât want healers to solo, or do damage at all, only heal. This is how it works in dungeons and dragons online (or how it used to anyway)
There are posts on the forums all the time whining that people expect healers to DPS when they arenât doing anything else.

Um have you played greater rifts 135-150 as a wizard lol
We have nice absorbs but even with talrasha meteor builds getting hit is almost instant death if you manage to misuse your infinite blinks (slightly less squishy this season due to altar of rites damage reduc buffs, but seasons prior insanely squishy especially with squirts necklace)
