I honestly think they would have gotten less flak if they had just done all healer healing reduced by 20%. (which would have been a functionally identical change)
Friend is a resto druid and switch to a disc priest as his main after the change. He complain his HoTs does so little healing each tick it not enough to keep someone up. Is much better on his disc priest to prevent damage first before anyone gets hit.
Yeah, power word shield is great. Even better as it wasnât nerfed.
Nobody at Blizzard understands their players. Thatâs been a long-running problem.
Over and over again, I see them announce something, and instantly I think âThis is how the players will react to this.â And it always is, because WoW players are very predictable.
They really need to have somebody on staff to just LOOK AT THINGS before they go out, whether a game element, a blog post, or whatever, who tells them âthis is how people will respond to thisâ. And then Blizzard needs to listen to that person.
Tell me how I have CE Razageth without DF or a level 70.
Been trying to level a mage, I would have already quit if not for TW.
Seeing as mages were the dungeon-soloing gigachads of classic, it might be safe to say itâs harder to play one NOW than it was back in the day.
Did Blizzard confirm this, or are you making stuff up?
Gotta hit your 69 button rotation faster.
I was about to say the same thing. We didnât get a 25% damage bump so to say solo play wasnât effected at all is kind of dumb.
I just figure thereâs a few half dead interns whoâve been locked in a room that get asked, but they can only say âmehâ and âplease let us see the sunâ so we just get whatever.
WoW players hate everything. You change something, they hate it. You donât change something, they hate it. They add a reward for logging in: FOMO.
Everyone has an opinion, and they all equally suck.
Is this damage increase only in dungeons and raids?
No, itâs a gametable change, so game-wide.
Redundant question is redundant butâŠ
So does that include even like, Duskwood mobs while leveling?
Yep. Game-wide. Since the game uses âtablesâ to determine what damage/healing youâre doing to a creature, and scale it appropriately to everyone else, it will impact the entire game, including Duskwood mobs.
I must be missing something - what 25% damage increase?
what is this thread even about? does anyone have a link to anything?
And which change are you complaining
You balance the game around top performers.
You never balance a game around the entire player base. Thatâs the worst thing I have heard you say.
just blaming about something that the .1% scapegoat threads
