Forbidden Reach doesn’t count as Rares have massive health pools and damage (25% higher now) and barely anyone is there any more.
i swapped to tanking cause im lazy
Gee, I’ve been reading over and over again that +20’s are easy casual content, and people who can’t or won’t do them suck. When somebody responds that they disagree, they get utterly trashed. What am I missing?
these people are ego maniacs. thats what your missing. Even if youre one person playing well if the other 4 dont perform you arent completing a 20.
I literally went there today and mass killed every rare with a full raid group. Did you actually try to put in effort? And the rares are meant to be killed in groups, otherwise people like me with mythic gear would just solo them all and you would never get to tag them.
Sorry, I don’t know what you’re saying.
You can’t craft without running 20 m+. You need those stupid upgrade items. Like I would do the same content again with my alta. A huge timesink
Your base item doesn’t need those items as far as I understand. You also get a flightstone was it? reduction for your alts. And timing keys gives you bonus currency so it’s not as insane as last season having to run 10 dungeons for 1 upgrade.
It’s literally less time consuming this time around.
What’s your definition of a casual?
Mythic raiders can be casual, casuals can also push keys.
Im a casual with a family. I raid mythic and do mplus.
The game is very casually friendly. It’s just not bad player friendly.
Why don’t you go play a real PvP game?
Probably because you can’t handle real competition and prefer the gear > skill formula of WoW PvP.
Yes it actually is casual content.
Casual doesn’t mean bad at the game.
Never have I seen someone say that.
Even then casual doesn’t define skill. It’s a metric of time.
Some people play 6 hours a week and get ce. They are a casual.
Some people push mplus keys 5-6 hours a week. They are a casual
People can push 20s and still be a casual. The issue is a a lot of non casual players try to hide behind being a casual so they feel better about their lack of success.
Skill > gear in WoW.
Anyone who thinks gear matters more is just bad.
pro tip: in open world go bm with double clefthoof & use pet misdirect macro you’ll never die.
Which should be the middle 68% to 95% of players, not the bottom or top 3%.

We’ve seen where the top players get abilities and gear nerfed because they cheese one item that’s useful and not game-breaking for 95% of players. On the contrary, we’ve seen massive buffs to abilities and items based on the bottom performers, which in turn get nerfed again later because the top will exploit it.
It’s not just about buffs and nerfs, either. The game as a whole should be catering to the average player. I’m willing to bet if you created a bar graph of activities in WoW, including transmog farming, AH players, etc. you’d see a clear bell curve.
Such esport. Much interest.
If WoW PvP wasn’t gear > skill then they’d normalize all PvP gear…like pretty much every real PvP game ever.
You always balance classes and performance around the top performing players.
This game doesn’t balance classes around the bottom performers. It takes all the logs from all the classes at a 95% percentile and balance from there. Give an example because most of the changes that the top 1% point out are because what they are pointing out is in fact broken and over performing.
No it shouldn’t. The game has a design point.
Group content = the games main focus.
Raiding
Mplus
Arena
Rated BGs
The people that play these game modes should be the focus.
Transmog farming and everything else are secondary focuses. It’s extra stuff to do while waiting for your friends to log on.
That’s how the game is designed to be played.
The game isn’t an esport.
Like they did?
As usual you don’t really have a clue what you’re talking about.
Healers are already unneeded in a lot of group content as self healing on tanks is sufficient or off heals from DPS specs are enough
It’s a bit different, but I’ve seen people who play the game for a living state that +16-+19s are low keys. Not to them, just in general.
Not all content creators are like that, but there’s definitely a subset of no-lifers who get their sense of accomplishment in life from belittling the achievements of others and elevating themselves.
