I believe that is the reason there’s so many players that are completely disconnected from the RPG element yet play wow religiously, possibly due to addiction or over investment after 15 years of achievements and rewards.
The amount of clueless people that have 0 interest in their own class that go into class discords and ask what’s best without even asking why is pretty sad, it shows that these players dont even bother reading their own passives or talents and just do what they are told like toy soldiers, and then you go into a m+ and find out that DH the leader cluelessly invited cuz the thought they were good cuz meta ends up being trash.
Because doing the right thing is not changed by popular opinion, shaming attempts, personal attacks or flawed systems.
Unlike many, I care about what is right rather than what is popular and gives my brownie points from the community, if the community is wrong, they are the problem, not that one person that keeps saying the right thing.
There’s also the problem where he labels people as “try-hard” for trying to improve themselves. Even looking up stuff on wowhead or icy-veins is “try-hard” to him.
Ah good point that I forgot. I don’t even raid mythic and the highest key I ever did was a 16 or 17, can’t remember. I do look up boss fights on youtube though so I guess I’m a try-hard.
Dont let tryhards fool you, mythic isnt that hard, the biggest obstacle is finding 19 other ppl that can do mechanics and know their class instead of being toy soldiers that follow what other people tell them.
This whole myth that mythic is utlra hard is silly
I didn’t say it was hard. I have downed bosses in mythic. I just don’t push mythic. I have no desire to. However I don’t call my friends who do push it, try-hards.
There’s casual mythic guilds that care about skill, and then there’s tryhard guilds who would play the most boring terrible spec in the game because it does 5% more dps.
Example people loving searing nightmare even though gameplay is boring simply because moar dps haha
I ll be going into mythic nathria progression with Talbadar’s legendary even though everyone calls it bad for example
Blaming a few people (who aren’t even the ones who are trying to get Blizzard to change things) doesn’t grab as many views as blanket blaming the 1%.
Ralph knows what he’s doing. He’s clickbaiting as hard as he can to attract as much attention as he can before he is inevitably suspended by Blizzard again.
Of course no one needs anything. This is a game, if I don’t enjoy it I won’t play it. I would enjoy freedom. Blizzard are in the business of making stuff people enjoy because if they don’t people won’t pay subs. It is in their best interest to give us freedom.
Every decent forum needs the ‘ralphs’ to get a rise out of the comunity - imagine reading nothing but happy stories on the gd forums - wow would break.
Okay but that should not divide a class and force you to roll alts to be viable in multiple specs. You should be able to play your healer and dps class without being hindered by the system. Previously tier sets let people alter multiple specs with one set of gear. So BIS was clear, defined and usually meaningfully helped classes and defined raid tiers. It was class focused with no diminishing returns on your other specs just because you raid as dps but like to heal in mythic dungeons. It promoted that. The game is moving away from that as well and moving into a territory that is neither focused on letting you be the best you can be and letting you experience the lore you love.
Lol youtube video streamers are so far from the 1% its not even funny.
Content creators may not be casual but 99% of them are lfr-heroic raiders, they do t push high keys, and quite frankly spit mostly false information about anything class related
I want classic? No. I’ve played it, was fun in 2004, not now. But you are apart of the group that throws out delusional clickbait like “we the players.” So far gone that what yours, or any other group wants represents a majority in anything, on any subject.
