The “gap,” now M+ goes from 0 to 10 bummer

So on my main I usually do around like 12-15 key range so they’re happy as I jumped into 2s to try it out and it’s fine.

My alts can do heroics now (old mythic 0) but there’s nowhere else for them to go as I used to do like +4 or +7 keys on them but that whole range has been eliminated.

I know I should “get gud,” with them but it’s a shame to cut a giant section out

My guild was the same way. But for us, this is the more interesting part:

the difficulty is currently scaled like this:

N ------ H ------------------ M ---- +2

I think it needs to be more like:

N ---------- H ---------- M -------- +2

We are what. 48 hours into the season?

I bet with more gear your alts will slowly progress

Yes, and really if they don’t it’s okay as they’re basically for farming old stuff so even getting gear from heroics is fine for them. I am realistic about that.

I just would have preferred a different rate of change like heroic is +0… 0 is like the old +2… +2 is like an old +4 and so on every other number. So a +10 could still be like an old +20

This. Blizzard caved to GD and made dungeons more meaningful, now GD is mad that it’s hard. I swear.

Oh I’m not “mad,” but I get your point about forums. I’m just saying my mains are fine, my world content characters are fine, it’s just those niche characters that I enjoyed +4 keys that I’ll either have to learn better or give up dungeons on. And maybe that’s just a me problem.

Oh yeah, definitely. The weird part is that I’ve seen a lot of talk on different servers about how at 460 Heroics are mind numbingly faceroll and at 470 M0 is quite the challenge.

Challenge is good! But I’d like to see Heroics brought up more in difficulty and M0 brought down a bit in HP and a smidge in damage. Not a lot. I think Heroic needs to come up more than M0 needs to go down.

But when Normal dungeon gear makes Heroic look like a complete joke and Heroic dungeon gear is still not quite enough for M0… there’s a larger gap than there needs to be, imo.

Uh… no one is mad? LOL what? It’s constructive feedback to look at the actual numbers and the way the scaling works right now.

Yup just looking something more linear, gradual, right now school goes kindergarten to 12 in the US. This would be like switching it so it was Kindergarten, first grade, then senior year.

Well, the next step is M0s which is pretty close to your range…and since there are no affixes/timers, it might actually be perfect. I haven’t run any myself.

Yeah, I just have to buckle down and tighten up their rotations to feel useful. But for now I’d rather focus on my main two so ida fine anyways

i like the bump in difficulty for keys and 0s but agree that the gap between heroic dungeons and m0 is now too large, leaves a void

time for heroic+

Word, my B. I’ve seen too many instances are hard posts today.

M0 will be fine with a mix of heroic dungeon and world gear, and if not you can upgrade it. Heroic is giving whelp crests.

What about just making heroics slightly harder to fill in that gap? If people are saying they’re faceroll

I agree with M0 as the next logical step (or just do heroics, they will feel like M+6 or so just did with lower gear). It is now what M10 was (but tuned for 39 more item levels, so more like what 16 just was). But eventually it will feel like M10 did, which is not very different from how M7 felt considering there is no affix or timer.

Out of curiosity, why only 8 dashes between the M and +2, but 10 between the others?

Yes, I counted. It’s my OCD. I think I’m like the guy from Sesame Street.

I was just visually trying to explain the following:

I saw it but didn’t wanna ask lol, I copy paste when I use things like that for the same reason LOL

I was just happy that I got the gap between N and +2 to look the same. The dashes between weren’t counted. LOL

+4 to +7 are now in your m0’s. They’re apparently scaled to around what a +10 was last season (though anecdotally they seems a little easier than that)
