A few missed opportunities here:

  1. I wish there would have been player agency : Choose to go with just Genn or to go with the Tess / Voss. I would have appreciated retaking the city with Genn more than shoehorning in the just for womens story.

  2. I know Genn is maybe having a rough time, but he could have at least raged into and ‘do it for Liam’ and save the feelings for after.

  3. Genn’s Wife should have maybe been around to help turn him around and go speak with Tess ?

  4. The noble set. They doubled down on a bad color palette for the transmog. This shade of gold is really bad the same with Worgen Heritage set. It just looks really bad. We wanted cloaks and tails like Genn…instead another case of not listening to the players…unfortunately.

I am let down as well. The quest felt flat and uninspired. I understand that the rebuilding hasn’t happened/started. I really do not care now.

The last time they tried this, Blizz was confused over why people wanted to help Saurfang or Sylvanas. Which lead to things basically being stapled together

Given that anytime shes in the plot her legs end up getting broken, I don’t blame her just not wanting to be involved.

This is one of the most lazy updates ive seen. This is on par with that icy time warp event in thaldraszus that everyone and their mother stopped going to.

I find myself often wondering what the team is working on between patches because each one is more and more disappointing. The only reason this even took 10 minutes is because you have to wait for the quest givers to stop running around killing the mobs that respawn every half second with the hundred players around. They cannot continue having quest lines in these tiny areas without hard sharding or without making them scenarios or seamless instances like the final named fight of this one.

No… sadly… nothing. The vendors are the original vendors who got washed away in the first place. So, It’s an empty city basically.

It IS cool that we took it back. I am, and was, glad to do it. But it is not a hub city with any of the amenities that a proper city should have.
