Then you would have people raging that they can’t make a Horde character on Herod server with their friends, because you cannot create a character on Horde.
Everyone would be whining that it wasn’t like that in Vanilla.
Everyone would be whining that Blizzard is taking away their choices, they should be able to roll a character wherever they want because they pay their sub fee.
Oh well. A servers entire faction balance is more important than their personal feelings.
Layering wasn’t like vanilla. Mega-servers weren’t like vanilla. That boat has passed.
Okay. But they’re wrong. Look at how imbalanced servers are when they get their way. The choices they made were bad for the overall health of the game. This is a problem, and it should be fixed.
This isn’t a MOBA or Arena setup. Fairness went out the window long ago. The battle lines and rules of engagement are decided on by the players. Blizzard has always said that, so long as people aren’t cheating, anything goes. If you don’t like the fact that Alliance has been constantly underrepresented in PvP for the last decade, then convince more Alliance to PvP.
Nope. Player Choice > Your feelings. Blizzard put the wild west out there, and told people to run wild. If you wanted something ‘fair’, you should have been on a PvE server, and flagged yourself. Or gone to a MOBA.
Quality of the game is just fine on Normal servers.
What if one faction has so many more 60s than the other? Should they force 60s on each faction too? And what about the faction who puts time into raiding and what not, so they have much better gear than the enemies… should they throw gear to people too?
its pretty tin foil hatty to suggest this, they saw the success that classic had at launch they are money/profit driven in every decision, ideally they would make the game the best it could be to keep people playing. the whole reason we got diremaul ahead of time was because people started complaining about a lack of content. same with pvp and now they are releasing bgs way early because people are complaining about wpvp. people are gunna complain no matter what, we wanted an authentic vanilla experience thats what the whole no changes thing was about but people complaining is whats driving all the early releases and changes such as the one that ruined spy
I’m not saying that rerolling isn’t an option, but I am saying that many people don’t have enough free time to level a character up to 60 again. It isn’t exactly a speedy process.
That’s relatively equivalent to saying they don’t have enough time to play this game.
I understand the point. It takes time to level to max level, and people don’t particularly enjoy the process. If they can complain and avoid it, they would rather do that.
“To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.”
But seriously, this is what world PvP is in the modern age. If you want something balanced or fair, you want to go Normal, and then flag. TM vs SS happens at least once a night on Mankrik, from what I’ve seen, and there are plenty of people I’ve seen flagged in the open world. No one is camping the Thorium Point flight point here.
