That delve balance hot fix was a joke right?

Really? I was told they came from Bountiful Delves only. Please tell me you’re telling me the truth.

I am 100% certain this happened to me. I even got Heroic raid bracers at the end you see me wearing.

I have 95 delves done now.

Still haven’t seen Zekvir pop up.

Biggest problem rn is zekvir hits for like 2m an auto and brann can’t tank him anymore like pre hotfix
he is unkillable

Seen him clobber me twice so far. Once in Earthcrawl Mines and the other time in Spiral Weave I was messing around in.

That one I don’t know how you can reasonably be mad at it.

They do content tuning based on PTR data all the time. Sometimes it’s buffs, sometimes it’s nerfs.

In this case, the data evidently showed that they undertuned it on PTR, and it needed buffs for live to hit the intended tuning target.

They are also known to sometimes intentionally under-tune stuff for PTR to get better functionality feedback. In raid testing, if they really want feedback on P2 of a boss, they’ll intentionally under-tune P1, so more people can actually see P2. That’s just how testing works.

I had him show up once and got a tier 4 relicblood from him but for some reason it’s not counting for the Brann curio achievement

Pretty much this. Delves are essentially mini raid night.

I did tier 7 no buff or enchant pots flask, but with tier 8 should be just fine at 575 ilvl.

Did a t8 about an hour ago.

The spiral weave, solo.

So far that’s the easiest solo t8 run yet.

DBM tracked how long my first t8 solo took of that delve. 42 minutes. Tonight’s run took 21. I’m about 7 ilvls higher.

So I’d say t8 solo is now easier than it was, unless they got in a hotfix right after I finished.

That’s not really a problem though. If you want the rewards you need to put in the effort. Delves are not, nor should they be, a free pass to higher tier gear that you can just line up for for free

I don’t even understand why they needed to be “made aware,” of the problems. A mob having 20 million health solo but 18 million health vs a group of 2 makes no sense. It literally proves they don’t play their own game if they didn’t see that.

Yep, I know the articles aid “solo or group play,” but I think it was clear the majority of people expected this to be the solo option for gearing. Three rows in teh vault, raid for big groups, dungeons for 5 mans, and world content like world bosses, events and delves for us solo players.

Right, but I think it was also advertised as a solo progression path, not just a gearing path, which is something the game hasn’t really had before.

So I think most of the complaints we’re seeing is solo/world players needing to adjust to the new experience of mobs actually putting up a fight, and not just falling over and dying when sneezed on.

Either they made a mistake and aim to rectify it, or we’ve gotten the good Ol’ bait and switch. I’ll give them until Tuesday before I come to a conclusion.

Pretty sure this is not even remotely true. Folks have been breezing through them solo all day.

I was expecting mechanics checks, not “wait one minute for CDs after each pull”. One’s fun and the other is just boring

I hate to break it to everyone, but the highest rewards from the newest content at the start of Season 1 shouldn’t be expected to be on FARM by EVERYONE the first week it drops.
